Knives you wish were made

I wish schrade never went under and were still made in ellenville. If they were still around they would have likely been making some nice bone handle offerings.
The OT's would still look good, still be in carbon steel, and I'll bet for those who like that sort of thing the Schrade+ line would probably be some kind of more modern steel.

I'd like to see a Victorinox Spartan with olive wood scales (jigged bone or Sambar stag would be good, too), and no keychain attachment, toothpick, or tweezers (as useful as they can be, at times). I love the blade configuration on the Spartan, as well as the steel and the action. Perfect size, too.

Oh a major one for me that's been on my mind for a few years now is the Case mini cokebottle, that's one they definitely need to bring back from the vault.

Again in CV and Amber jigged bone, I've only got one in it but it's my favorite handle material from them.

It's interesting to me that Camillus went under at almost the exact same time that GEC started. Bill Howard's vision and experience seems to be the main difference. Thank you, Bill, and Merry Christmas!

Case mini trapper in green sparkle kirinite with a wharncliffe or sheepsfoot in place of the spey. That would be my favorite traditional ever.
A GEC Oil Field Jack in green micarta would be great too. Maybe one of these days they'll make it.

I want a larger version of the Schrader 93ot. Right now, the perfect candidate would be a GEC 48 with the saber ground California clip and a high riding sheepsfoot behind the main with the nail Nick's on same side.

I have to second the 86 Barlow, I was so surprised with all of the SFOs that no-one requested a barlow on this frame. I would also like a long pull, but of the match strike variety, but differ on that I would love a large clipped point blade. I also am interested in a large sow belly pattern, 4 inches plus, and would love a pen configuraton with clip primary , wharncliffe secondary.

Case Texas Jack, Wharncliffe secondary, flat ground CPM 154, stainless liners/pins/bolsters, matched stag covers with either deep ridges or gnarly popcorn.

Since you asked....
I really wish Victorinox would bring back the Scientist. It has the exact tools I find myself using on other SAKs the most. Blade, magnifying glass, combo can opener/bottle opener/flat screwdriver, an inline Phillips which I find vastly superior to the "T" handle type, and the corkscrew to hold an eyeglass screwdriver. These are almost impossible to find and when one does pop up, the sellers want $150-$200 o_O
C'mon Vic. Throw some together!

I'd also really like to see Case's small saddlehorn with a different secondary. Preferably with a low profile coping blade ala GEC's #29 or #86. A pen knife secondary would be good also. I like the pattern. The clip blade is fine. I don't have much use for a skinning blade in that pattern. Put a coping blade in there and brown sycamore handles on it and I'm heading to the friendly neighborhood Case store :)

A saddlehorn by GEC would be good too. Even better actually.

I’ll agree with Charlie, a scout pattern from GEC would be nice. I’d also like to see them do a run of the 66 with some sawcut options, but finer lines than what came out on the last couple 77 runs. Something like a Schrade 98OT with sawcut bone would suffice too.

GEC #35 in a cattle knife.

Case to stop rolling of the blade edges by over polishing. I'd even like to see a CV as ground series from Case.

Finally someone to really step up with Schrade like peach seed jigging.

I second the already proposed camp amd cattle knives on the 35 frame.

I also wish for a pen knife on a reversed GEC 15 frame, a Norfolk by GEC and another run of their Pony Jacks (and White Owls too!).
