Knives you wish were made

I'd even like to see a CV as ground series from Case.
Absolutely, I do not like the polish they give their blades.
As ground or the satin type finish Buck uses are my favorite finishes and I especially love an as ground carbon steel blade and how they age.

GEC... This F&F frame with a nice stout Lambsfoot blade PLEASE.
I have been begging Bill Howard to make a #93 Nifebrite with a rams foot blade for some time now. I write hand written letters to GEC monthly. If a thousand GEC collectors wrote to the factory monthly . it would surely shake things up. I was an ABATE motorcycle rights member for many years. Letter writing is power !

Have to refrain from posting my ideas until this double posting and other problems get resolved, can't add pix reliably today either, really tedious :(

GEC is making knives in the future that I will be buying. Problem with GEC is not knives . I think that GEC's choices of acrylic colors is hideous . I want more rich beautiful colors , not off the wall required taste colors. Oily Creek cougar clawed jigged bone , Oily Creek sawcut bone , Oily creek barnboard jigged bone , Chocolate Almond wavy rogers jigged bone , Chocolate Almond barnboard jigged bone , blueberry wavy rogers jigged bone , Autumn Leaf wavy rogers jigged bone , amboyna wood , blue river acrylic , dark blue Camel bone , and antique goldenrod camel bone. I would like to see a GEC "BEER BELLY" knife with a cap opener , a #22 single blade , #64 Babylon Hill swing guard knife , more #85s , #97 two blade Barlow , and a 4 1/2" saddle-horn knife with two large sabre clip/spear blades.

GECs with flush pins and Cases with tips.
Mother of pearl covers.
Case Eisenhower

A Pen type construction (single-spring) Serp frame, small or slant bolsters, or Rat-Tails, Spear/Small Clip or Sheepfoot 3 3/8" Small Banner/Gimp shield, Bowtie, Diamond or Hotdog. Stainless all steel or carbon all steel, Peach Seed or Winterbottom, Ivory Bone.

Not likely? I know, but it doesn't stop it from being right:)

Decent sized single Spear Teardrop, Barehead. Not the CASE version which is more like a Quill knife...;)

CASE must offer their Penknife with improved finish i.e. NS liners and Amber Bone and Chestnut Bone:cool:

A medium frame slim single spring jack (think Case 087 or even the larger 47Pen) with clip on one end and a proportionally substantial sheepsfoot (not a little coping blade) on the other end. Why o why such a pattern is not traditional fare is beyond me ... maybe they didn't have to open & cut up as many boxes in the early 1900's

There are old patterns which are single spring with a clip and spey, basically a stockman minus the second spring and sheepsfoot. There are a lot of patterns that fell by the wayside many years ago and have mostly been forgotten.

Sounds very close to a #35 GEC Churchill

Funny how we all see things differently - the majority of GEC's I have are acrylic sided, which is why I own them. I think the acrylic GEC uses is so much more interesting than the Case Corelon acrylic...

Single-spring Equal-Enders make nice, compact packages also!!:)View attachment 1257184
I am wishing for a honey bone GEC knife. GEC will have some trappers coming up in the first quarter. A Charlie Waynorth Trapper SFO in Honey bone with a diamond shield would look really cool my collection. Your old knives are always really nice. Buying an #86 Waynorth Black Jack is like finding a 110 year old NOS knife in the tube. Hey Mr. Charley , You could put Waynorth on a turd and sell it for $150. It's fun to watch the collectors go fool for your knives. I bought some killer knives this year. The Charlie Black Jack was the GEC made knife of the year to me. I like buying new GEC knives so I can give a skilled worker a job. Hey Mr. Charlie you are not just a great knife dealer , you are a job creator. "BUY AMERICAN OR STARVE !"

I love GEC knives with an Oily Creek bone look to them. I started buying GEC in June 2018. I spotted this knife and I did not pull the trigger. I knew nothing about Oily Creek bone back then. I wish GEC would make an Oily Creek cougar clawed bone knife for the new trappers coming up in the first quarter of 2020.
