Knives you wish were made

I love GEC knives with an Oily Creek bone look to them. I started buying GEC in June 2018. I spotted this knife and I did not pull the trigger. I knew nothing about Oily Creek bone back then. I wish GEC would make an Oily Creek cougar clawed bone knife for the new trappers coming up in the first quarter of 2020.
Yeah, the Cougar Clawed is a unique style. I like it

Case mini trapper in green sparkle kirinite with a wharncliffe or sheepsfoot in place of the spey. That would be my favorite traditional ever.
Funny enough in the time since posting this I came across the Eureka Jack from GEC in green micarta and instantly fell in love. This will also be my first GEC so I'm definitely looking forward to getting this one.

This exact knife shrunk 20%. Love everything about it - blades, color, shield, etc. But I really like the smaller stockman in this pattern/shape. The #82 is just a little large in the pocket for me. The Case 18 stockman to me is perfect.

As I sit here fondling my 108ot, I wish there were some higher end variations on this classic size knife. Exotic woods and shields, worked bolsters etc. Id love a congress or cigar stockman in this size with ebony and lined bolsters.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Please share your thoughts on that Antonini when you get it in.

One of my dreams too:cool: Fine blade selection-which ride low.Frame too big for my pocket, sigh!;)

I'd also like to see a GEC version of Queen Cutlery's No.26 pattern, square bolster. One of the best Small Stockman ever:thumbsup: Of course, GEC could improve on it by replacing Spey with Pen;)

I wish knives like this were more readily available. I'd settle for NOS.

The Antonini Electrician came today. The wood scales have a cheap feel to them, but the steel components are fairly decent and everything is pretty tight. I feel like the lack of sanding and polishing are the main ways they kept the price so low. I like the blade shape. I may sand it a little and stain the scales, or I may just rub it down with warm wax and mineral oil and throw it in my pocket. Would make a great tinkering-about-the-house knife.

Just ordered this off the big shopping site (Antonini electrician). Probably low quality but for the price I could’t resist. Supposedly carbon steel. There were only 2 left when I ordered it just now.

I just couldn’t leave well enough alone...

No bail, so I guess I’ll have to stay locked up.
(No kiwi either)

Sorry for missing these posts gents, you did a great job there Tom :) Otter do a similar model, but @scruffuk bought one, and found the fit and finish very poor :(

I've got quite a list actually. :)

GEC #35 Churchill, #18 Coyote, #82 Possum Skinner and #38 Grinling Whittler all in stainless.
A longer (4") GEC #56 Dog Leg Jack (also stainless).
The return of the SAK Pioneer Settler (preferably in red :) ).
The SAK Spartan/Camper with a little longer blade. The SAK blade lengths jump from 2.75" to 3.5" with nothing in between. Even just a an extra 0.15" blade would still be safely EU legal and would be very useful. Sometimes I find the blade a drop short for everyday usage.
Bring back the SAK Florist (just been discontinued).
SAK Nylon scales as standard. They're better in pretty much every single way.
More two blade modern traditionals and specifically the big/small blade configuration that has yet to appear. The jack and pen knives were so very popular for a reason.

Now things have changed and all I want is a case half whittler in amber jigged bone and CV blades.

I'm not trying to be done lookin' but I'm pretty sure I would be if Case offered this.
