Yes. I like that one you had Stephen make. I wanna make one. Thats cool.

I recently drew up a chopper I'm gonna make.

Bow Legged Chopper. Its gonna start as a 3" wide 1/4" thick X 15" long chunk of 5160.

Andy, that is sweet!

I like many of your designs. Have you considered making knives yourself? ;)

Cheers buddy !!!

I had to laugh when I saw your post because I was just talking to the wife saying how I will make some if I ever retire early ! I worked as a welder at a coal mine for 17 years and also did a small amount of blacksmithing etc, so obviously during that time I made myself a few knives using files and ,saw blades, they were very basic to say the least, lol !!!!!:D

Here is a concept I have (blade only).

A drawing has been sent to Great Lakes Waterjet for some blanks (one each in 3/16" and 1/4" 5160). I'd already planned on playing with a combo grind as well, though the model doesn't show it. Depending on how long it takes GLW to cut the blanks and this beginner to grind, HT and put handles on it, I hope to have them finished within a few months. Look for a possible passaround in the future:D

I'm glad to see you giving this a shot. I wish you'd try a simple bushcraft knife first though!! Either way. Make your own tool!!

3 belts so far. 8 bucks a pop.

Me too! Something simpler would probably be better to start with for my first blade, but I don't always opt for the easy path.

Yikes!! Good thing you're removing most of the material prior to heat treating.

This is strictly Pitt's design, I just got bored last night and played around with it.
Pitt don't sic the TT on me for infringement!!

Here's the concept for one I'm trying to build. It's going to be the companion knife to my tomahawk. It's basically a Grohmann #4 flat ground in carbon steel with bear jaw scales.
Though,I'm really liking that design bu Pitdog. That thing is sweeeeeeet man. Thanks for sharing.

P.S. if that gets made I'm having one or 2.
