A friend gifted me a Townsends " patch knife " blade which I handled yesterday, and this morning j finished making a sheath for it.


It's a very thin razor sharp blade, and the overall package is very lightweight.

The sheath is a rough out 6oz that I gave a healthy dose of beeswax to stiffen it up.
It wears and adjusts like a bolo tie.
 
I moved this two or three feet and couldn't find it for a while, but here it is. BPS compact bushcraft, 37% off. The bushcraft is identical except for being a half-inch longer, so maybe they think they don't need to make both.

You know me, that's wax and face powder stuck to the blade. I ground down the guard-nub that was sticking out past the handles.
