Let's see your Shadetree

Thanks to my knife-brother Phil who so graciously offered to sell me his Camp Knife after our knife exchange, and the arrival of the LongFellow, my shadetree collection just grew.

Phil, buddy, I owe you for this. It really is a grail for me and like you said, seems like it was made for me. You're a good dude and a great friend.

Sorry for the cruddy picture. Today's been a dreary, rainy day.

Well, now I have mixed emotions. I'm really happy for you, that's an awesome clollection. But part of me hates you right now. :p

Excellent collection sir.
You have exceptional taste and a very good friend as well.
Kudos to you both.

Mick

Here's a couple shots of the Terracotta burlap, RIP. Ken mentioned there would still be a few knives getting it, but it sounds like maybe only 10 or so. We'll see. Five so far I think.

It looks great to me; it has a tighter weave than the Drunken burlap, and a nice rust tone to it.

Also, this Bushcrafter is a dream. More on that elsewhere, after I run some tests.

Is the blue one a Kephart? I really like that one. I know my Fiddlebacks pretty darn well, but that one looks smaller or something. Plus new models have been popping up.

Wow! What an awesome continuation of an already cool story. Congrats, Nathan, and way to go, Phil!

That TC burlap is just the perfect shade of brown to my eyes. A real shame it is so limited right now.

It's the new Longfellow model. It looks blue in the pic, but it's the black burlap. I think the dark rain clouds affected the color. I'll be breaking it in and doing some comparisons to other models.

Love the color of this one. Very organic looking.

Thanks to my knife-brother Phil who so graciously offered to sell me his Camp Knife after our knife exchange,

I figured when Phil sharked that Camp Knife last Friday it meant he'd be ready to unload his existing Camp Knife with those hideous orange liners. Nice score Thurin! Definitely my favorite liner color, and makes great looking combo.

My goodness! That is something. Have you got a chance to test drive the camp knife yet? I love the spalting on that one. How about the Longfellow?
