This knife is simply gorgeous. I think I need one.![]()
i'm new to the porch -- are the forum knives usually from gec? about when in the year do they appear?
This is just fantastic.

liking these more and more!!!
You just have to get one that calls. Then another one calls, and calls, and calls.![]()
They aren't necessarily from gec. Last years was CSC I believe? If one happens, talk of it should start soon.

I'm starting to think that predicted production schedules should cease.
I doubt I am alone in the
"ooh I'll wait for that one in those covers only to miss out when it get inexplicably canned by which stage there's none left of any of the others that I could go for"
stakes.
So having recently pounced on the first spring green 74 I saw drifting past for fear of missing out I ended up with a rather anaemic looking dye job- I reckon it slipped through QC just before lunch time. All of the others I have since seen look a lot better.
Just to be clear there is no fault whatsoever with the knife other than a crud dye job.
I am being picky because aesthetics are important to me and I believe to many other people.
The production schedules seem to get everyone salivating ( and I can drool like a mastiff when the scent of a new knife hits me) and then there is a period of hedging and floundering while we wait for them to actually appear.
I think GEC should produce all the knives in the run before any marketing goes on.
Would this not make it easier all round?
All feedback and comments welcome

I agree that this is frustrating, but I'm not sure what their incentive to change would be. How many of us have bought a second (or third) version of the same model as more appealing covers are rolled out? I know I have.
Perhaps we, the consumers, could agree, instead, to hold off buying until all versions are released. [emoji51] That may bring some change.
Yes, please don't purchase any knives until they are all released...i promise i'll do the same......![]()
