Lion Steel Dom

Is there a good texture/feel to the rams horn? That one I had on notification but the stock pics didn't sell me on it. Maybe if the coloring is a little darker as more pics come out. Just not a fan of the yellowey-white/off-white in a lot of bone and stag.

I absolutely love the Rams Horn. My favorite cover on these by far, even more than the wood. It is certainly a bit chunkier but it feels secure in hand and it has a tactile feel to it that one can only get from a natural material like horn or bone. The coloring can vary from black to blonde. Some, like mine, have cool red flecks in it.

This one is my favorite.

This pic shows the dramatic difference in horn coloring. One blonde, one black.

I like the longer long pull on the dom; looks better than the older runs.

Wish I could see a side by side shot next to a TC sheepsfoot Barlow of this one, oh well, maybe if the USPS has their stuff together, I can see it in person tomorrow...

Now that's funny! How looking at a pic you can realize something is right under your nose...does this make it easy to pinch open?

It is a fairly stiff pull, say a 7 or 8. I think it does give more purchase for pinching open the blade. I like the option of being able to open it with either hand.

Thank you for that! I think I am going to love this knife, the little extra length in both the handle and the blade will be much appreciated by me. I'm very excited to get this one in hand.
You're welcome! You will love it I think. I'm going to be carrying it for a looong time for sure. I absolutely love it.
