Lion Steel Dom

Got my micarta today. One benefit of these is that the scales can be removed if you want to try making custom ones down the road. The rest of the knife is pinned but the scales and bolsters come off easily.

AWESOME!! Congrats man! Come on, don't hold out! Let's see the other side too!!

image.jpeg image.jpeg Here is my stag version. It is also my first Lion Steel knife. The stag is a super match from side to side. It is really nicely made. I like being able to open it by pinching the blade too. I love this sheepsfoot blade. It does everything I need a knife to do. Their Ram's Horn version is terrific also.

Okay. Let me take it out of my pocket ;)

Wow! That is definitely a keeper! Loving the variations in the ram's horn!

Loving that stag too!

@knifeswapper and Lionsteel knocked this one out of the park!

I'm impressed! Ordered the natural micarta on Weds. and a shipping label was created at 10:34 that same evening. Not a hot spot to be found anywhere on this knife and the tang is extremely well machined. I cannot find anything to even nit pick on mine, nice and sharp right out of the box, beautiful grinds on the blade and swedges. This package is a bargain having these materials and fit and finish. Well done CK!:thumbsup:
That is quite a change from your original impression of the Roundhead!
Glad you saw the light, :) and glad you are enjoying it so much. They are fantastic values.

You must be referring to the "other knife", the one with the detent ball side spring...I have rarely visited the Roundhead or other euro Barlow threads...

As for these knives, I have reserved comment on them, because they actually are to me some what traditional, with modern materials and construction tequniques. The sheepsfoot blade won me over :)

Ooop. Sorry. My fault.
There I go thinkin again...
Yes, the Sheepsfoot has a strong allure.:thumbsup:

Heres another variation of the RH.
I'm really happy with the final result. Pull and snap are close to perfect. Fit and finish is quality.
As you can see in the pic I also ordered the CK pocket slip. Its a nice quality leather, with so so stitching. The slip fits perfectly with the knife (snug) and it will break in nicely.
Very happy with this purchase!

Very nice !!!!
I’ve got several of the sheaths and use them for various knives.

I'm starting to wish I would have gone with the ram's horn instead of the micarta. Those are looking really nice, not that the micarta isn't beautiful. I guess I just need to get the micarta some use to build in more character or get a ram's horn too.

I'm loving the blade shape on this a lot.
