Modified Production Knives (traditional only)

I checked but that model was out of stock and still 3x the cost of the one I found. At this point I’m going to dabble and if I get serious I can keep this one as a spare. I tried it out today for the first time but not on metal. I turned a 1x4 into knife for my youngest son. I ran out of light (the great outdoors is my current workshop), but got to something resembling a knife :D

Best knife I’ve seen on here yet.

Insert Crocodile accent "now thats a Knoife!"

Did a pen blade delete on a #44 this past weekend. I also started a recover on a custom Lloyd barlow for a gentleman. It had some dull, cracked bone covers. I'm recovering in gaboon ebony and also adding chamfers to the squared off bolsters.

Just finished up. Case CV Sowbelly dressed in green canvas micarta. Pinned shield. Contoured the stock flat bolsters. Backspring is flushed in the open and closed position. She came out hot and perfect if I do say so myself! Video also posted to my IG page.

Beautiful. Well done!

Took a very inexpensive navy knife and turned it into a lambsfoot. It isn't perfect, but for a 1st try, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I started with a 60 grit belt, then 120. Then I hand rubbed with 400 grit and 600 grit (I forgot to do the 220, but I'll remember for the next one). Then I finished the cutting edge on King Stones (1000, 1200, 6000). The metal was pretty soft, so it didn't take as long as I thought it might.

Looks good JTB_5 JTB_5 ! Well done.

I just finished up a recover on the John Lloyd barlow. Recovered in Gaboon Ebony. I also beveled the bolsters at the owners request. I've been busy with work so sorry I didn't get as many or as good of pictures as I would have liked.
