Modified Production Knives (traditional only)

Must resist modifying my TL-29 into a Bullet End Jack, with Ebony Scales....... I wonder if the screw driver can be made into a wharncliffe?!?!?!?!?

I was thinking of those as more of a sheepsfoot. Have I got it wrong?
Well, I guess those are more of a sheepsfoot than a wharncliffe, sure. But if you can grind it into a sheepsfoot, there ought not to be anything preventing you from doing a wharncliffe instead. That's all I meant.

Okay, here's a "fun" one I just finished...a Camillus 72 rehandled with MOP. Stuff is quite durable to sand and polish, but chips out easily when drilling. Very hard to catch the "fire" of the MOP in pictures...

Also did some filework on the bolsters...

Here's two Opinels I modified and posted at Xmas. A fixed blade #6 for my fire starting kit with a rawhide sheath and a Moose antler handled #8.

Very nice work Robin! Looks great!

Here's one I just finished. An LB7 that I did with Amber Stag Bone. I loved the craginess of the stag bone. This knife is a beast!

Glen, that Schrade looks great!

Here is some very minor work compared to rescaling. This is a Case 316-5. Stock, these have a decided clip point profile. I took it down to a drop point and then thinned the spine considerably. After thinning the blade, it performs much more to my liking. I use this in the kitchen all the time. I find the drop point much more natural to handle too.

Here's a closer look at the blade.

Thanks for looking.

I like what you did with that blade, Pinnah. You ended up with some nice clean grinds, looks like a factory job!
