Most Massive Super Strong Folder?

Most massive folder would be this once the guy finishes making it.

I will document the entire process because there has been a lot of chatter recently about the IKBS and similar systems. My goal last year was to have a table at BLADE this year so this will serve as my prototype for a line of large folding knives. OK so first things first here are the plans drawn out for the knife. Blue circles represent the micro roller bearing around the pivot and the .3" tri-ring stand offs. A stainless steel hardened .312 thumb stud will serve double duty as my stop pin.

The water jet parts came in today! They look perfect, all dimensions are just a hair undersized just how i like it. I'll get the holes reamed true this weekend and counter-bore the blade for the bearings.

biggest and strongest ive seen is the coldsteel espada xl but i've been having a hell of a time finding one for sale lately.

sure some may say coldsteel videos/ads are too flashy or what not but not too many others show hundreds of pounds of weights hanging off the end of their folders which prove their actually strong enough to handle that type of weight and abuse!

i've yet to see any custom knife prove their worth in the real world. If's its not on video, it doesn't exist! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OO9gHsscyc

how many folders can handle 600lbs swinging weight which is shown on video? like i said, if its not on video, it doesnt exist and no matter how expesnive you make a knife or how thick, it aint jack unless it can perform and prove itself.

I own a Cold Steel Spartan and it's just massive. Too big for a pants pocket but goes nicely in the interior pocket of a winter coat. They have a youtube video demonstration of it's strength. If you're looking to stab a knife through the hood of a car' that's your knife.
 
Early in this thread it was suggested I look at an Ontario Hossom Retribution 1 by Maddogg774 and later by others as well. I was not aware of this knife before this thread but I went ahead and purchased one and just received it in the mail. All I can say is WOW! This thing is awesome in every way and the value seems to be incredible. It's rock solid and sooooo smooth! This knife was a slam dunk for me for two reasons. First I always EDC a Spyderco of one flavor or another (usually an Endura) so the opening hole is something I prefer and am completely in tune with and second I'm a big fan of Ontario knives. I really just got into Ontario even though I've owned a couple over the years so that explains me not being aware of this knife. I'm likely not done with the Massive folder quest and will be looking at some custom options by makers on this forum. So many thanks to Maddogg774 and everyone that has contributed to this thread!

Oh man, you have no idea what im about to release into the wild....it will force lesser knives to shy away into the corners....it is 1/4 inched , 4.5 inch bladed wonderment. With ti and 10v and all sorts of overlay...

But seriously, its just a knife right?.........muhuhaha!!!

Now I'm going to have to try making folders.

I just got to the point where I feel my fixed blades are decent enough to sell....
