Another entry for me - my Australian mallee, gidgee, and red gum came in. That ringed gidgee is just beautiful. Heck, they're all beautiful!

It's not really burl but it is a real nice piece. It is a piece of swamp salvage maple with tight curly figure. It is hard to tell by the photo but the wood has real cool little speckles and tight curl that has a metallic shimmer. It will get a lot more colorful if you use an oil finish.

Arrived today! Good looking block of wood. Appreciate it. :thumbup:
