My 5000th Post Traditional Fixed-Blade Giveaway - Do we have a winner?!

I have been working too much, great thread. Congrats Jack on your milestone, have enjoyed many of those 5000 posts . Also just a great idea for a contest, I have some work to do ;). I never thought about it before but we all do kinda have our own style and what catches our eye. Kevin, you hit the nail on the head brother :D

Thanks again for the chance at a great looking knife Jack, ill be back with some pics later.

Thanks Jeff, looking forward to seeing your pics. This has worked out even better than I'd hoped. Thanks to everyone for making it so :)

Jack

I was looking around my photobucket and found a few I had already tried to emulate, see if you can guess and ill name them at the bottom

Doug, Fes, and Duane

Spot on Jeff  Though, I reckon that 25 (?) would look a lot smaller in Duane's hand! :)

Thanks and yes its a 25. I wear a XL glove size but can sometimes squeeeeeze into a large , Maybe Duane is a XXXL?? :D and yet he can still craft such fine detailed things with his hands

I'm an XL myself, but my hands are tiny compared to the Big Man's! ;) :D He does some great stuff for sure

Glad to hear it, Jeff. I tried to make my entries flattering to the mirrored photographer but my focus (mental focus that is) was not quite there on my outings.

BTW, Jack, this is a great give away and you are very well appreciated by myself. I forgot to mention I am just posting for fun, not the chance to win.

Kevin

Great giveaway and thread, very amusing, great pictures!
I've got some style imitation ideas and i'll try and take some pictures and post them if I have time. Haven't had as much time lately for taking pictures with the new job I have started.

My ears have been itching! Someone talkin about me maybe? Nah, my hands are regular size;) Camera trickery with angles and lighting and stuff!

Howdy Jack. Please forgive me for not contributing too much, I am away from home right now with work-but will try to get some photos going-how long have we got my friend? I have missed getting out to take flicks of knives. Great thread.

What a great idea for a give away, and such a nice looking fixed blade! My uncle has been going on about how I should try out the scandi type knives like this.

Edit: This is not an entry. I just won two give aways (one of which was done by yourself), and I would like some others to get more of a chance to win one... So I am going to sit this one out.

Thanks for the opportunity, and congratulations on your posting milestone. The knives pictured are some of my collection that I use for whittling. The black handle one is one I made from a cheap paring knife, and is a great carving tool. The Buck has been ground down to thinner blades and works good also. The Opie, well is an Opie, and needs no other explanation.

Another great pic P :)

Very good Meako  :D

Alright Jack, you're lettin' this go for awhile, so I'm reservin' this spot, now to figure out who to flatter with my lame attempt at imitatin' their style.

Thanks and congrats on the 5k, always look forward to your posts and pics, you add another dimension to this community and your perspective is refreshing.
