My Dispute with "The Bright Edge"

Just my 2 cents worth - I have dealt with Robert (The Bright Edge) since the beginning when he first started selling Microtech knives and have spent thousands since. I have always been 100% satisfied in all my purchases. His professionalism and honesty throughout our transactions has always kept me coming back. He definitely has my business into the future.
 
I tried to get the low down of this whole thread , but couldn't bring myself to read all 11 pages. Did Roger ever wind up getting his $$$ back? I know for a fact that if ever Bob makes a mistake, he goes out of his way to make damn sure you are happy and come back to TheBrightEdge. Maybe it's because of the way a problem is dealt with that it never gets resolved....

Bartoli is a sh1thead and people need to know this. I won't let him get away with his "mafia-like" tactics even if he thinks that having an italian name makes him mafia. lol

He ripped "anyone" in a bad way. I mean, geez, the guy asked him a simple question, Bob lied, and then had the nerve to fvck the guy on the return policy anyway. What a dirty bastard.

Some folks here seem to think that since the knife was originally "priced" at $1500 dollars that a person should be tickled pink to shell out 750 bucks for a balisong with a defective latch. That deserves a deuce. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

This thread has cost the Bright Edge at least one potential customer. I prefer to do business with people who treat the customer as he would like to be treated. I don't like restocking fees for defective merchandise. It doesn't make one iota of difference if it was on sale or not.

BTW, I own at least one Warenski, numerous early Randall, an early Herron or two and dozens of other early makers knives. I was buying knives when you probably didn't know what a Case knife was.

Well, since this thread has the potential of becoming legendary I figure I may as well get my name in here just in case someone decides to write a book or something.

My opinion, I would buy from Robert. Though there seems to be some issues he attempts to work it out. And if it can't be worked out, at least he provides lots of interesting conversation.

BTW, if Robert is THEBRIGHTEDGE on Ebay then we have done business in the past and as I recall the deal went very smooth. I think I even rated him positively....JC III

Have to disagre with you on this point! I do not treat my customers the way they like to be treated! I treat my customers the way they deserve to be treated! You will not find a seller that goes more out of there way for anyone than me! Given the chance, and a few thousand have let me show them the outstanding service and attention to detail your purchase will recieve! If you are a Richard I will treat you like a Richard!
