My Dispute with "The Bright Edge"

The guy that ended up with that knife did not get it because he won any raffle at ramanon.com. He got it as a reward from you for him sending you screenshots from the mods forum after you were de-modded and then banned.

Your lies are compounding at this point.

Next thing you will be telling me the UPS lie... do we really want the whole world knowing that lie? :eek: I'm itching to tell it and see if people believe your side or the truth! :p

Having trouble thinking up a lie to cover the UPS lie? You know you don't wanna go there.

Say one more lie about me and I will unburden you of that UPS lie. Everyone can judge for themselves as I said before. I have no stake in that lie either although I promise I will send you postcards if you go to jail for it.

You are owned and you know it. Time to put your tail between your legs and just leave and live with only this bad sale bali lie. Don't test me, you know I am crazy enough to spill it. :p

I'm "the guy" that got the Duncan from Bob.

I did not send any screen shots from the mods forum to Bob. I sent a couple of PMs from CrazyFool a.k.a. Kevin to Bob that I received simply because I had no idea what they were about or was amazed by the content.

The knife, as I understand it, was pulled from the Ramanon giveaway due to problems that Bob was experiencing with Kevin and his questionable practices on the Ramanon forum. Not only was he having problems online but it was starting to cause problems in real life. Bob, obviously, had to put an end to this. The withdrawl of the Duncan knife was one of the results.

All money was returned to the participants (including me). I was then asked for my address and was sent the knife by Bob.

I do not like to have to rehash this here but I will not let this one go. This doesn't seem the right way to sort things out however deep the wounds are from past experiences.

Bob has been nothing but a fine fellow on the forums and his generosity is beyond compare.


I will now appeal to the moderators of this section to close this off and let the real participants take it to email, PMs, phone calls, or whatever else they may want to use to sort it out.

Why would they want to close such an interesting thread when all this fun stuff keeps coming out? :D

This is what I like about Bladeforums... this thread will go until it has run out of steam. It will not be hidden away to cover for anyone. Neutral ground can be a beautiful thing and I think this is the perfect place for this discussion.

Just when I was thinking about getting one of those “life” thingies along comes this thread… Yup, that Bob is a bad un alright. About a month ago I called him (on my own dime, dammit [jeeze f’n’ looeeze, if your long-distance is that much maybe you shouldn’t be buying expensive toys]) to talk about a knife purchase. He insisted on increasing my long distance charges by helping me better understand some pros and cons of various blade finishes and scale materials for a couple different knives. I bought the knife; I like the knife; I was happy till I read this thread and realized I have been screwed. The RFB did not send me a grape lollipop with the knife; can ya believe it!? AND I know he had some lollipops on hand when we were talking about the knife cause I heard lollipop transactions going on in the background. Of course I didn't actually ask him to send me one, but still... Oh the humanity…

After viewing this entire thread, I, for one, will never do business with "The Bright Edge". If they treat any of their customers the way they've treated "anyone"/"slick", then I will not do business with them. Their arrogance greatly outweighs their business practices. Maybe they should stick to autos and leave balisongs to dealers who'll inspect them before they ship to unsuspecting customers.
