Nessmuk. Which one and why.

I actually posted a link to the wrong image, that image was of the back side of the the knife, I like this image better, I think it shows it off a little more....

I got to see this knife, at a show, it was really impressive, and exactly the type of thing I would imagine they carried all the way back then.

Marion

Beautiful Knife Marion, I really like Bob's Work, And that Nessmuk Is sure nuff Old School, Thank's for sharing the picture,

That would keep her rent paid for a while!

She thinks the one she did for my last nessie was unique, but that expedition style sheaths are too much for the smaller knives.

Too much sheath? I think that she made an Expedition for the the little skinner pattern that I'm wearing right now.. I would say that it is a the perfect amount of sheath (I wear it more than any other sheath at the moment)...

I think she considers that a bit less bulky than a regular armored expedition :D

I have a flat-ground carbon steel Grohmann #4 blade blank on the way.I'm thinking I'm going to put it into a crown deer antler. It'll tie me over till I can get a 1700's era knife to match my Tomahawks.

Its still a thick, tough, little sheath. My son's son will be wearing it. The sheath is actually a lot better quality than the blade, truth be known.....

Protourist - sorry if I'm off topic there...

Bring on the nessies!

Very nice. One of my JK knives is 3/32 and I love that thickness. Done right it may be all you need.

Great pics everyone! It's interesting to see so many interpretations of Nessmuck's pattern. I've been itching to get my first nessie as well but I think I'll wait for the Condor's to try out that particular style.
