New Information Needed on the 2016 Forum Knife!

A. Worm groove, yes

B. Long pull, yes

C. Carbon steel, yes

I would like to see a poll for the shield.

Charlie, Thank You for Your dedication.

Let's get jiggy with it ;)

Cattaraugus worm-groove

I love this style of worm groove AL Very nicely done along with the individual grooves inside the "worm groove"
I'd love to see more than one 'winding groove' on the covers though.
GEC did a run of 25 barlows in Banana peel bone that only had one winding groove down the middle and it didn't look impactful compared to this Cattaraugus style.

Long pull , Yes
carbon, yes
worm groove, very much worth the effort and extra expense.
thank you Charlie with sticking to this project.

I voice what everyone else has Charlie~ ^^^

Another photo of worm groove bone on one of mine.

A) Absolutely on the worm- groove jigging. $1.50-$2.00 is well worth it for something a little different. Personally I like the look.

B) I say yeas to the long pull. Seems enough people are in favor that a poll probably isn't necessary.

C) Either carbon or stainless will make a great knife. Personally I would get a ton of use out of a stainless version, I work on and around the ocean and regularly use a multi tool punch for a variety of tasks but it would be selfish of me to only consider stainless because of my unique circumstance. I will be happy with either and get a lot of use regardless of the final choice.

Again, Charlie and everyone else putting in the work and time thank you for everything.

A) I like the long worm jigging. For the cost, I think it is worth it.

B) Long Pull. Absolutely. Matchstrike if possible.

C) I will abstain from the steel debate. I absolutely prefer stainless, and I think that 440C is a fantastic steel. And I do not understand why anyone would choose 1095 over 440C, but I know lots of people do. I got my stainless last year, and that knife is a daily carry for me. This knife would be fine as mostly sitting in the safe knife. So, in deference to all the folks who like carbon, I abstain.

D) Thank you Charlie!

ETA: I think it would be nice to have a poll on steel, but the crowd seems very partial to carbon. I would be more interested in a match-strike s. long pull poll.

A I'm good with what is decided
B long pull is good but doesn't matter to me
C carbon steel is my choice

Dave

Yes, yes and yes...even though I prefer 440C I am smiling all over the place for this forum knife. The worm jigging is icing on the cake.
