What? Sale? Someone send me a link!

Have you seen the Orb Raw??

http://web.mac.com/Lummii/Lummi2/Raw_NS.html

Or the Wee?

http://web.mac.com/Lummii/Lummi2/Wee_NS.html

Its so dangerous to go to CPF. I can't say anything but being blown away by this technology. A jewelery sized light thats brighter than a 3D maglite. I may even convince my ladies to wear them. Security people say this is the best way for an untrained person to defend themselves.

Blind em, and run. Repeat. No strength required.

Anyway, if you dig around on that site, they're having a special offer. I'm not posting the link because I don't want to deal spot.

If the pics of those two jewels don't blow you away? I dunno.

To be fair, there is another set of lights, by modmag (Drake and Draco), that is as small or smaller, but they cost twice as much.

I like the look of these better. JMHO.

FIDDLEBACK... I'm going to have to block you :mad::mad:

nice pieces .... I'm staying away from this thread !!!!! :D

Last year I bought a 6-pack of KAIDomain's AA buckle lights. Not too bad for about $ 11 a light shipped. Threw one in each vehicle and put one on the nightstand. I use them more than my others. Why are knives, guns and lights so addictive? :D

Can someone please make Fiddleback stop! I explained numerous posts ago that I lack any/all self control when it comes to cool stuff.

You guys are cracking me up! I'm going to get blocked now!

Yea, thats a gorgeous light. But I'm not buying it. I'm not buying anymore lights for a while... I mean it. Not kidding. Very seriousl...

Now. To batteries. What rechargables do you guys use, and what chargers??

Andy, step away from the flashlights and take a deep breath.

You don't need any more lights (yet).

You need a good charger! :p

These guys sell some of the best IMO, and they stand behind their guarantee.

The MAHA smart chargers are what I use for all my AA batteries.

I can't really recommend you a charger, since I don't use anything in the AA format. I only use CR123 lithium and RCR123 Li-Ion. The best RCR123 Li-Ions are made by AW and the best charger for Li-Ions is the Pila IBC Charger.

However, If I were into AA format and the NiMH chemistry, I'd go with SANYO all the way.

Which charger specifically, and then, which batteries do you suggest?

Honestly, I don't know. They've got a lot more models now than when I bought.

You want to get the scoop on chargers and batteries though?

Visit a few photography forums and review sites. Those digital camera guys are absolutely over-the-top when it comes to their batteries and chargers.

That's how I found out about the MAHAs. Got really good reviews here:

I think I have the 401FS, and I've been using it a couple of years.

A circuit went bad on my unit recently, and the guys at Thomas had a free replacement here in under a week. The MAHAs have a lifetime warranty IIRC.

Cool. Please post more soon. Back in Atlanta sounds good too!

thanks, cant wait to leave switzerland.

good news, my box full of splashed nitecore flashlights did save arrive in usa, the splash was made by myself in switzerland.

Great 411 here guys! I bought both options. The charger for lithiums and two batteries of both sizes I needed. And I bought a NiMH charger and 4 batteries. That way we can use it for the camera too.

Hey Andy, if you grind more knives, you can buy more lights.;):D:D

LOL

Great, now I have to get one of the Nitecores!:grumpy:

:o:D:D
