Oh no, say it ain't so, that makes me sick to my stomach...I hope they are recovered, any signs of tampering? I'm hoping DLT held back a few for these type of issuesI was excited for my DLT sfo's to arrive today. Went to the mailbox and I got an empty box! Never had this happen before. Sad to say the least. I've been waiting for these forever.

Looking good Charlie! My first Ironwood knives. I had no idea that it finished up so beautifully!
A mysterious wood, it looks different from every angle!

I did the same purchase. Mine should arrive this afternoon. Congrats!
Thank you. I didn't know what to expect and I'm beyond thrilled with the bone covers. I just edited my snakewood into the post. I like that the wood is much lighter than on my #74. You can really see the grain structure. You got a nice one there. Tracking says I can expect mine to be in the box when I get home tonight!
Whoa! That really sucks. I've never had that happen, but I guess it does once in awhile. Sorry to hear that.I was excited for my DLT sfo's to arrive today. Went to the mailbox and I got an empty box! Never had this happen before. Sad to say the least. I've been waiting for these forever.
You're right about that one Barrett. It's almost nonexistent? I wonder why?Good looking Desert Ironwood examples, Charlie! I haven't picked up any #54's yet, but I'm thinking about it. (It's a larger knife than I usually like to carry, and lately I've been trying to avoid buying knives that won't get carried, but I'm still tempted by some of these, particularly the Desert Ironwood and KSF's Muslin Micarta).
I was wondering about one thing I've noticed in some of the photos posted in this thread: it seems like the sharpening choil on some of these #54's is pretty small/shallow by usual GEC standards. Is that the case, or am I just seeing things? (I know it's something most people wouldn't notice or think twice about, but I love a good sharpening choil.)![]()
