New run of 54s

It would seem that USPS has been quite busy today delivering 54's!!! I also was the recipient of a mail run. The M&G's are an early Fathers Day Gift from Pam!

My two Beaver Tails also have very little talk on closing. I just assumed that the blades were a bit tight to the frame, and would loosen up over time.

I hope, my other #54 are like bear traps. I prefer a stronger spring.

I was going to pass up on my pre-ordered Appaloosa, but after seeing all these showing up, I had to place my order. Can't wait to get it.

Kudos to those of you brave enough to pre-order the Appaloosa, I was not. This type of dye work can be hit or miss in its final form and I wasn't in a gambling mood. My loss, obviously they came out great.

Some really nice cover and shield choices on this run of #54's. Let's hope this trend continues going forward. It certainly makes the selection process more challenging.

Thank you sir, really appreciate the nice comments. The appaloosa is a beauty to behold in person, pictures just cannot do it justice. I am also very happy with the way snakewood covers came out on mine.

This Ironwood 54 came in the mail today. The covers are a little darker than I prefer but I knew that when I bought it. I do like them though.
