It came out great bud!!

How big is the choil? ~1" ? I think choils should be just big enough to fit your finger. Not too small that it pushes the finger into the blade, but not too large it takes away too much from the cutting edge. If your finger fits comfortably i would leave the choil alone personally.

Choils are tricky. They are either comfortable or not, and if not they can ruin a knife. I have sold a couple knives just because the choil felt uncomfortable when choked up. Too square, sharp edges, or whatever. If it is uncomfortable to choke up on then the choil took away cutting edge with no benefit. Basically ruining the knife IMO.

Yours looks great. round and smooth. Great job really.

Thanks again man.
I will have to measure it for ya. I think its a little less than one inch. My finger fits but I think I would like just a little more. When I choke up with my whole hand and largest part of my finger is in it, it feels like it needs more room and I haven't tried it with gloves yet but it would need to be bigger for sure. When I initially put it, I was not sure if I was gonna like it or not, so I went smaller rather than larger. I also put a choil in my Brute, and made it a lot larger and it feels better I think.

I just realized i hit 8000 posts. WOOHOO :D

My gold membership runs out soon, I think i may go platinum next time so i can get 300 private messages instead of 100. They run out too fast.

Yea if its a little less than an inch opening it up some may be good. Really its just depends on whats comfortable for you. If the one on the brute feels better id copy that.

Perhaps you just talk too much.:D

It is nice to have more p.m's, and you get to choose a custom title and have a slightly larger avatar.

How much more is platinum to gold? I was thinking about going gold here soon.... Shoot, I've been hanging around since aught-eight and almost have 1,000 posts under my belt. It's probably about time.

Who me? Talk too much? Never :D

A custom title would be cool too :)

Gold is 30 a year and platinum is 60 a year.

Steak wrapped in bacon.
Steamed spinich.
Potatoes cooked in bacon grease and steak drippings, then pan seared once they were cooked.
Beaujolais-Villages by Louis Jadot wine.

I love my wife. My idea, her cooking. Sooooo tasty.

A real man would have insisted on sauteeing the Spinage in that bacon grease too! ;) You can even sprinkle some water in the pan to steam it under a lid.

That is actually exactly how she steamed the spinach, in the pan after the potatoes, with the lid on. How did you know ?

Why is the online retailer I have a decent size credit with out of BK10's right now?

The Western movie fan in me has always wanted a matching .44 LA rifle and SA revolver, and a 12-ga. coach gun. :) The CAS folks seem to have a ridiculous amount of fun with 'em.

I used a 20 ga external hammer with m92 LA and SA in .44 when I did CASS -- was a blast.
saw a lot of folks using .45LC as well.
