Official "Move Your Butt" Becker Point Challenge Thread

My legs are still burning from the double hill on Sunday. Had to take yesterday off. Hope to get another couple of miles in tonight.

Believe me, this thread is the only reason I'm getting off my butt. I know I NEED to do it, but this was enough to push me to actually do it.

I lift weights a few times each week, but my cardio time dwindles when life gets busy. With this Move Your/Mine/Ours Butts Challenge, I literally wake up thinking about how I'm going to acquire points today! The motivation and team effort at individual activities have been most helpful and appreciated. As a bonus, I've lost two pounds since starting this challenge.
 
4 more miles run today brings me to 22 BP. Took a few days off for a vacation, but fortunately, I think I'm still ahead of schedule.
 
Walked 7.91 miles today, also did chest and tricep routine in the gym.

BP- 17.28

Slowly rode 3 miles with my daughter this evening.
Tried to take the dog for a walk, but it's so cold (like, 50, I know) and late that she wouldn't budge. I went out anyway, for just under a mile.
I'll call it a subtotal of 1 point for the day, bringing my total to the 1/2 way mark - 25 Becker Points.

Without this thread I likely would have bagged the walk, so thanks for doing it!
Plan to take tomorrow off in preparation for Thursday's 5K. I hope I get to run most of it - but I won't leave my daughter behind.

Yesterday's exercise:

11-26: hiked 4.8 miles with a 25-pound pack. I like to work with quarter-point increments, so I'm going to round down slightly. Daily BPs - 4.75

Total BPs to Date: 18.75
 
3 miles on foot today, total = 15.5 points. Need to step up my game, been spending too much time writing essays!
 
So much for rest. My wife convinced the kids to let us go on a walk together - I couldn't pass it up. 2 miles today for a total of 27 BP.

Here's my run on Garmin Connect
Here's a few things I saw today on my run:

There is a suspended monorail train that runs from Ofuna Station to Enoshima. I just found out that it is there even though I've lived less than 7 miles away from it.


Between Enoshima and Kamakura there is a section of the Enoden Train Line where the tracks run down the middle of the road.


A nice view of Mt. Fuji and Enoshima Island.

(On a side note this is my second longest run EVER, including training for the Tokyo Marathon last February. My only longer run was the Tokyo Marathon. This challenge is pushing me to run more than I would have been without the challenge)
