Olsen OK knives

Thanks for the update Brian. It is still a great knife. But not on my "high" list as it is not an Olsen. We learn something every day.......when your book comes out we are going to take a monumental leap in knowledge......hint! Rob

I ran across your post and just wanted you to know that I got that set on Ebay and will never split up as long as I have it or sell it, would be a shame to see it go that way.
Just joined and have collected Olsen knives for about 10 years now. I would send you pics, but have no idea how to.
Well just got back on site and located you to let you know that I will be turning 78 this month and have decided to sell my Olsen collection including the pewter set I purchased on Ebay a while back with display case. You had been biding on this.
If you are interested or know of someone who would like to purchase this set intact please let me know. Thanks, EJ

Don't know if my recent post got to you so trying to send again. I was the person who purchased the Olsen pewter display set on Ebay a while ago that you also were biding on. I have been collecting Olsen knives for many years and have decided to sell my collection as I will be turning 78 this month.
I want to sell the display pewter set intact and know you had some interest in it, looking to get $2,000 for set which includes all 7 with brand new sheaths, boxes, display case and pamphlets. All in excellent condition.
Also will be selling all my other Olsen knives on Ebay in about a month from now.
If you have any interest or know of someone who might be interested please let me know. Thanks, EJ

I purchased the Olsen pewter set on Ebay and am going to sell if anyone is interested. Turning 78 this month and selling all my Olsen collection.
Want to keep pewter collection intact, but have many others selling separate.

Trying to figure out how to post message, hope this works. I have the pewter set I purchased on Ebay a while back and will be selling that plus rest of my Olsen collection. Will not break up the pewter display set and will only sell as a set.
Turning 78 this month and time to pass on to other Olsen collectors.
If you or anyone else you know who may be interested please let me know.
Thanks, EJ

O Olsen OK , check you messages on your profile page. Thanks Brian

Congrats on advancing another year! I think you have a very nice pewter set from the prior posts you submitted. Unfortunately, I have a complete set of pewters plus a "special" pewter or two. I would be interested in any other Olsens you may be selling. Always on the lookout for another variation. Regards. Rob

If anyone is interested in a article on Olsen Knives, check out Woods and Water News in Michigan. You can look them up on line and order a copy of their October 2020 issue. It’s a nice 3 page article with some pictures. At the end of the article it has contact info for myself and Lee Jr’s son Olie Olsen to inquire about a book with price guide that we are in the process of writing. Thanks Brian

This is a great article in a seemingly small package. I have to admit I had some challenges finding a copy and I live in the town it is printed in. Hats off to Brian and Olie on getting this put together with the magazine author. Having benefited from it in having the opportunity to meet with Brian while his collection was laid out for the article was an added plus. It was apparent that parts of the article were directly from Brian after having that opportunity. I hope to get a chance to meet Olie someday also. Consider me in on the UPCOMING book. If you are seeking pre-publication sales/funding before it actually goes to print I'm in also. Rob

Got a couple myself. The one looks to have an odd blade shape. Not sure if someone ground it down. Can't seem to post pics darn internet. Pm me if you would like to see it

Use a free hostic site. I like Imgur. It stores pictures from your computer ("chose") and allows you to link to them by posting img hyperlinks.

Unfortunately, the magazine itself has been evading me much like certain Olsen knives.

I tried contacting them directly using the website to try and get just that issue.

If anyone finds a link online to purchase one or happens to pick up an extra if it is in your neck of the woods oh, I would gladly buy it from you.
