All this talk of limited to 350 and first in first served is gradually reminding me of the recent "I wasn't quick enough and they all sold out in the first 20 seconds" "oh no some people got 4 of em and I missed out Viper thing that went on".
Now-I'm not in any way casting aspersions on Barrys business -because he is one of the best . That is not in doubt.
Anybody else get that shudder down their backbone when the phrase "limited to 350" came up?
Am I being overly touchy and paranoid?
I don't want to miss out -no I don't.

I think that's a legit concern, especially for members living outside the country dealing with different times zones and longer connection times. Maybe there could be a limit of, say, two knives for the first few days to ensure all regulars get in on this.

We sold 350, but it took multiple weeks to do it. I think selling out immediately is not a significant risk.
Subscribed so I don't miss anything, life's been keepin' us busy so in case it's not officially recorded somewhere. As always I'm in for 1 Charlie this is the first time I got a look at the whole knife. I'll have to join in the fun of tryin' to name the new pattern. Thanks again Charlie, as always a great job and many thanks.
This project will stay mostly on the back burner until after the GEC Rendezvous, but it's never completely come off "simmer".
Having pretty much run out of known "patented" punches for my periodic HJ projects, and given the joint project with the BF knife, I thought it would be cool to find something new, or at least "old is new again!"
Digging through my HJs, I found one of my faves, this Case Bros. Little Valley.

The knife has some desireable features; age at over 100 years, a deeply stamped blade marking, decent condition, and a punch I haven't used before! I call it the "Little Valley Punch".
We can speculate on the engineering behind its configuration, but I think it is flat-out cool!

Whaddaya Think???
Just to remind you all, these will be forthcoming this fall and will be distributed by Gunstock Jack's again this year. Don't know how much so don't ask, as this won't be determined until final production is close.
I will NOT be checking each and every knife, as that is QC's job at GEC. Shipping alone is a major project, let alone keeping all the orders straight.![]()
