Order of KAI Official Hang Out; Part Deux - It's Enrico Palazzo!

If anyone is passing by western maryland on their drive to blade next year id like to work out a car pool to save gas money and take turns driving......question where is shot show?
 
ok im back, got to start a project at my gpas house, my first real knife!!!
i based it off of this wooden one i made a while back, so far i only have the handle end of the blank finished up, the rest will be completed the next time im in iowa: ^^^ the proto (not my best grind at all, grandpas sander is a lot thinner and i couldnt adjust fast enough...
this is my first attempt at hand filing the handle, i used wood files of course... wrapped tightly in electric tape, it just sort of worked its way up to my favorite handle material :confused:
the jimping
this is the unfinished blank of my first real knife, it looks wavy but i assure you its smooth as... daymon... ill let you come up with a synonym... creepier that way...
im begining to like how the surface looks, i just made random patterns across the whole blank to clean it and remove cooled remnants of the plasma cuts, this shows how thin the steel is, ill have to do a very gradual flat grind, or else it will be to weak, and i dont know what grade the steel is, other than its galvanized.



on another hand, im curently bidding on this speed bump, please dont out bid me :o

today my leek clip, body screws, and torsion bar came in, i forgot to list it as the ckt version, so i got an appealing contrast from the clip to body poorly shown in this pic, im officially back in action... for a week
 
Ive never been to a knife show....That being said does anyone know of any shows around western maryland within 3hr drive??? id love to get to one before blade next year

I literally just got my CKT Leek screws and whatnot in the mail today. I was going to put them in the SS one if nobody bought it, but somebody did. I can try to send them to ya if you want 3V.
 
I don't know why, but whenever I add up around how much my paycheck should be for this last week, the number doesn't seem right.
