Our "Front Porch" ....

Joe- If that "Ice" has been there for more than Four(4) Hours....... :)

lol, ^^ cracked me up! ^^

Man, I'd trade you guys for some cold in a heartbeat. It's been a really warm winter down here in Central Florida. 86 today. Our winter sputtered along and just disappeared. Missing it already. Beautiful pics BTW Rubicon!

Okay let's work out the details of the trade. Here is what you can expect With the cold a couple of pictures to change your mind,

my wife and I were in Niagara Falls a couple of weeks ago and the Falls was still running, however last week it was completely iced over, still running behind the falls though.

Also you have to shovel a path through the snow so your dog can do his business

I think Rubi's pictures and climate are much more preferred.

F.O.'s sums it up ...... Snow throwing a path for the Dogs to go do their business, Yesterday and Last night was a snow/ice storm.......Ugghh

Me Last week rocking a "pink" shirt. They say it takes a real man to wear pink. I say it just takes the right amount of Vodka.

Here I am this week.

You Guyz iz funny...and I do mean the haha type.

@Final...is that an ice sculpture tribute to Priapus?

@Rubi...I too hear that real Men wear pink.:). But alcohol helps, I guess.:D

I'm trying to embrace my inner most pink side :)...... No I'm not, the Wife said she liked it and I was hoping to get lucky so I put the pink shirt on.

Typical shallow one thought reptillian brain sorta thing, kinda like Final's sculpture :)

Shirt's not too pink in the photo as viewed on my device...perhaps it's just salmon color but you had "pink" on the mind.:D

I'm actually quite color blind which makes for interesting stories all their own.... Couple that with a genuine "Don't GAS" attitude regarding fashion and I can appear quite rediculous at times..... which compliments my personality nicely.

Another don't "GAS" minded guy here. It's why I post many photos of used XMs and why my vehicles may be a bit dirty now n then, etc.

As for the conversation of sculptures and colors, just doing my part to keep convo skimming atop the gutter...all in fun.:D

I hear ya, Fortunately "the Porch" stays pretty "PG" while maintaining a bit of comradery and entertainment value (I think) :D

True in my view. Also makes me wonder how things would play out if more of us had a bit more free time to spend here...

Okay, how about I just get to see snow one time! :) Been here over 40 years now and it snowed once in 77 when I was 3 so I don't remember it. It was less than an inch and was gone by noon, but shut down our entire area. Funny, hurricanes blow through and we don't even bat an eye, but a half inch of snow an the world ends :)

David......I feel for you......

OK......not really.......

Right now I have to admit it is difficult for me to sympathize with someone who can currently walk outside, sit on their deck, munch on a freshly picked navel orange, get a tan and need a beer to cool down from the heat........

Yup.....can't do it......the sympathy is just not coming........nope.......not even a little........

Now I have to go snowblow my driveway again.........:D

Some "Snow Porn" for Dave ..... First part of my trip this morning.

Second Part .... they were everywhere

Weather for some today would make for some sweet snow/ice sculptures. But the suck of this blend of wet/frozen/ice/"blizzard conditions" really negatively impacts mobility. Be safe out there.

^ Ha!

Our weather down here in rebel country isn't the worst, but there is some "frozen slush" on the grounds and roads. Just have to be cautious when traveling. Class at the university was canceled so that's always a plus. Work still open of course...

Haven't posted much on the forums lately, been real busy with full-time work and class. Our little man (16 months-old) has been growing and growing...grabbing everything and finding new ways to really bring on the worry!

Anyone here planning (or hoping) on attending Blade this year? It would be great to put faces to (screen)names finally and chat with like-minded gentlemen. Had a great time last year and looking forward to sharing a weekend with a great community.

Have you "seen" some of our faces? ......... somethings are better left a mystery. :)

Thanks for all the snow pics guys :) I have to say, that's my one big fear about moving to NC is driving in snow or ice. We got a Subaru Crosstrek AWD which is supposed to handle that kind of thing pretty well, but still worries me. We do 70 on the interstates around here in monsoons, but I know that driving in the snow / ice is a totally different kind of challenge. :)

PS, I'll be at Blade. :)

Driving in the N/E is an exercise in creativity for sure. I've been doing it so long I don't think about it much anymore but I don't let my kids out in it.
I guess that is a double edged sword but...... is what it is.

The Jeep does well in it but it's still the guy behind the wheel.

Funny, NC is like 9 hours South from me. I don't imagine they get hit too hard snow wise.

I'll send you a snow ball in the mail. :)
