Yummy...Woodford!

And to those that liked my unlikely to materialize idea...thanks. Now notice how many don't see it (or don't publicly acknowldge seeing it) as they only see a lottery thread and miss all the other benefits here.

Some so blinded they only read what words to post and not who's eligible.

Sad but true. Most folks tend to miss a lot of the best and most interesting aspects of what's around. For the record, I think you had a heck of an idea- even an ex post facto give away or two could be fun (I.e. anyone who posted in the last 10 pages of the thread would be elgible).

And to the bourbon aspect, I've been debating what to buy next. I've been trying to focus even my casual drinking on good stuff lately like I used to and I've been retasting many I haven't had in a few years. In the last couple of weeks I've had, bulleit's, woodford, Jefferson reserve, 1792, my once upon a time go to makers. I'm thinking of buying some Blanton's. It has been a few years, but I remember liking it a lot, and I love higher proof bourbons. Can y'all think of any I should add to my "to buy soon list?"

I'm living vicariously through you guys, since we're not allowed to drink over here.

I wasn't talking about you, someone here has/had a Viper Wrangler.

Everything is cool.

"I would like to see that one...I have seen the V10 in one wrangler on another website...may be the same one. I have a Wrangler 4dr that I ripped apart and dropped a 6.1 Hemi crate motor into...I enjoy it more than any other vehicle I have owned.[/QUOTE]"

Very cool, where did you find room to stuff it in?

I've always been amazed with all the modifications guys have been able to do with their Jeeps. I've seen many CJ 5's with Chevy v 8's in them but a Viper V10 would be totally cool. The suspensions and wheel bases of today's Jeeps allow more
modifications and still be road safe.

Two hours until lottery, good luck my friends!

Mabe we can put together some sort of "care package " for you wolfie........ Stay safe, and keep the sand out of the pivots, you know what they say..." Happy Knife, Happy Life!"...

I've had all of those and enjoyed them all to varying degrees. Have you tried Evan Williams single barrel? I drank my bottles of '99 & '00, but been holding on to this one - I was commissioned in '98 and plan to drink this bottle when I retire from the AF.. Anyways, I really like it - can't speak to their black label stuff though..

I'll have to give that one a go! Their black label stuff isn't exactly what I would call good, but it's my low end bourbon of choice if I'm feeling cheap or sharing with people who don't know the difference. Also that's a brilliant idea. That'll be a special bottle the day you retire. I've been fortunate over the years to have received a few awesome bottles of scotch as gifts and though they are empty now, they are really nice reminders of those friends and times.

I might hit it before my retirement ceremony, I will be much better looking in addition to enhancing my eloquence ;)

I already dropped one in the sand, and had to clean it out. I love a knife that's easy to take down and care for!

LW.... Wave or jump up and down ....

I see a Wharnecliffe, I'm waving AND jumping!!!!!!!!!!!

Hold out your arms, we can just drop the care package right in..... Perfect idea Rubi..... Your always thinking.....

Arms out, watching out for sharp edges. :D

No LW, get in the bunker, I think we need to drop something else!

PLEASE don't drop anymore IDF in here, I spend enough time in bunkers! :p :D

God Bless ALL today, Active Duty, Reserve Duty, First Responder Duty, LE Duty - ALL those who Serve as a Duty, I think You know who you are and Why you do what you do.
The "Porch" is a place to come and talk, kick off your boots and have an adult beverage while communicating with like minded individuals as well as the collective.
Obviously we have to observe a public decorum but, rest assured the climate is one of acceptance and understanding.
So, here is to hoping that all are safe and happy even though we live in a "challenging" world.
Cheers!

Too good of an opportunity to not take part in it. I don't check my facebook very often (maybe once every month or two- I think I'm the only person in my generation who doesn't regularly use it), so I'm thankful it was announced here too otherwise I'd totally have missed it.

Yes. A MORE than Generous offer from the team at the Ranch and one that should not be missed by those who partake in all that our world has to offer in social media.
I will now go see what joy oatmeal still offers and hope that Johnny Carson has someone good on tonight :)
