In all seriousness: You've been active on the forums for quite sometime & I for one, don't enjoy seeing anyone sink this deep. I sincerely hope, that these 2 very poor transactions, & your actions related to them, cause you to do some very deep introspection, & make improvements in your life...who cares about the knives...I'm talking your life! :thumbup:

On a lighter note: That BM custom (???) grip, has to be thee worst knife that has ever been listed on a sale forum...if BF had an annual award for thee worst knife deal of the year, you would win this award hands down!
On an even lighter note: Thank God, & count your blessings, that this was only a knife, bro; because had you been in this same state of mind, & gone out to some bar...I'm very afraid that if your choices in women, are as bad a your choices in knives...you may have woken up 4 days later laying in bed with something that looks like this:

There is absolutely no doubt that Ulf caused his own problems here.
If he would have just followed simple buying 'common sense' he wouldn't be in this position right now.
I am still not happy with the fact that there is someone selling absolute sh!t on the exchange though....

It always strikes me as the height of hypocrisy to complain about being ripped off while acknowledging ripping off PayPal. The OP may have been victimized by a thief, but the OP is also a thief. The OP deserves no help and no sympathy.
well....the OP probably caused his own headache, but the mater of fact is that the seller is a habitual offender,he was chased out of another knife forum for ripping of a member from her hard earned money....she did not paid with PP gift but because it was an international sale, he strung her along till the deadline for filling a complain passed...

I sent him a preemptive PM informing him of the consequences of specific behavior. What doesn't help is when members come into sales threads and take a dump in their thread. This is not allowed in any forums from what I am aware of. We can't necessarily ban someone based on something that happened elsewhere, there are exceptions but proof is needed and it has to be closer to air-tight than window screen.
Anodizing aluminum does indeed use dye. Just watch a YouTube video on it and you will see. Anodizing titanium does not.
Quite visible on my laptop screen. At the very least, there is enough info in that pic to ask for more detailed images. If you just look at it on a phone and don't bother magnifying it, then you could miss it, but that's on you for not looking closely.

I understand the fact that it's against PayPals terms to send funds as a "gift" when you are, in fact, "paying for goods". My confusion is understanding how that practice would be considered a theft.
I've been asked to pay for goods using gift, and have declined, because I wanted the (limited) protection. Not because I thought of it as stealing.

Jade pretty much has given up on it. She's out around US$480 that Keegan Hasbrook took from her and sent ONE package, rather than two, to a different City in a different Province (impossible screw-up).
He jacked her knowing that the knife, itself, was a problem.
If that knife would have actually crossed into our country, in one piece, it would have been snagged and a letter would have gone out to the potential recipient.
You have the option to return the item to the Sender.
That didn't happen. Guess why.
The knife was never sent.
