Please don't say I drank the coolaide...

Update...

I removed almost all the handle jimping yesterday after destroying 2 pants pockets. I ditched the zip tie in favor of drilling a 3/16" hole in the spine with a carbide bit and press fitting a steel pin. Now I'm waiting for the word to send it for the regrind.

But I just ordered a Medford.

I forsee a massive zip tie in its future... and possibly a trip to Razor Edge for a full flat grind.

beautiful knife. you've got excellent taste!

Nice - I was thinking about the same thing on mine, mostly to reduce the handle size to fit my hands better. Would you mind taking a pic from the side (profile)? Please keep reporting! Very interested to see what you do and how it works for you.

Does "FTW" stand for "F the warranty"? :D

Nice job. Drilling hardened steel at an angle with a full-carbide bit sounds difficult. No small feat.

Never occurred to me... but so true!

F The Warranty!

Hey Matt, I tried using the bottle opener on this TFF-3 like you would with a wave . It worked as good or better than any wave opener I've used.

Try it from the left pocket, pulling forward. Reverse grip edge out.

Never thought of the "F" the warranty version of FTW but damn, it works really well... :cool:

Almost too well LOL. ;):thumbup::rolleyes::D

As far as FTW applies to my knife branding, it originally stood for Freeman's Tactical Weapons.
