I want one off those 5.1s with Bark River convex grind. I missed out on your GSO 5 prototype. I do not want to miss out on this very limited run.

No, that will for sure not happen. I stated on here that I was TRYING to get these out before or by Christmas but my timeline on my web store page has always reflected an expected delivery date of the first week in January. More realistically, I would guess I'll begin delivering these around the second week of January but I might surprise myself, since these won't have as many stops in production as the GSO-10's, which turned out to be a real nightmare from a manufacturing aspect. All of the GSO-4.1's are currently at Peter's Heat Treating.
 
That sounds just fine to me. I hate to rush a good thing, especially something like this. If you need til the end if January to kick out a product you are proud of, then so be it.

I bet we are all just anxious and excited.



I ordered one with camo canvas micarta in 3v with a black sheath. What did the rest of ya'll get?? :) :) :)

No worries, I just remember something being said about before Christmas. I haven't looked at the website at all except to place my order. I'm fine with it whenever it comes! :)

I almost went with that combo myself. But then my wife was looking over my shoulder and she said 'Don't order that! Then all of your knives will look the same. Do something different. Order the camo. Camo handles would be cool.' Hey, if the wife wants camo handles, well, that's cool with me. :) And she is kinda right, I don't have a knife in camo so who am I to argue. LOL

You're getting exactly what I ordered. This is gonna be the best edc/woods knife around. Hope it arrives in time for the feb survival challenge I'm doing...

I'm thinking I'll like the camo micarta, but if not, I might splurge and have a custom handle in ironwood done...

Yeah, these might run a few weeks late, with all of this damned holiday madness BUT they will be done and shipped before February, no problems. ;) I'm always good on my word, even if I do run behind sometimes. I'm motivated, with the best of intentions. I just have to remember I'm only working out of a small shop right now, mostly by myself. lol I know one thing for sure, you guys are going to LOVE these knives. I'm super excited.
 
I don't know where you came from Guy, but you sure are making an impression! First you are giving away a big piece of 3V at below your cost with all sorts of extras, then you jump into another offering using two high end steels heat treated to pull out it,s best performance, How are you going to make a living and stay afloat? I have to admit I have a 3v and one each of the 4's, but I am feeling a little guilty. Thanks for doing these blades and will continue to support your efforts. Martin
 
I hope Guy keeps em coming. The designs are exaclty what I have been looking for and the steels are ones I wanted to try out for a while.
