It will be one knife per model, per customer but as a bonus this next go, there will be a few variants. lol. They share a common handle, with different blade sizes and choil/no choil options. People asked enough that I'm inclined to make it happen. After visiting SHOT, I've also learned that I have a new certified Cerakote applicator in my immediate area, so I will most likely offer a few Cerakote color options, perhaps as many as five to start.

5 Cerakote colors huh, will pink or neon purple be included? j/k lol. Think I'll stick with the stone wash tho since it's food safe.
Say..will the swedge on the 7/7 be exclusive to that model or will it find its way onto GSO 4.1s and 5.1s?

At first it will be an option on the GSO-7/7 and it's choil-less cousin, the GSO-6. I might in the future look in to expanding that, depending on popularity.

Well, can't wait for the GSO 4.1....

Guy, are you considering a fighting knife at some point?

The GSO-7/7 should fit that bill if you like a full sized choil or the GSO-6, if you don't. Should have those buttoned up in the next few days.

I thought I remember a while back something smaller than the 4 may be in the works, is that still the case?
Thanks!

WOW!!!! that is great news,,, i was unfortunate enough to start following survive shortly after the promo run of gso 5.1's and i have been scouring the forums and internet ever since, i am super excited to see what you have in store for everyone and just wanted to say keep up the great work!!! i can only imagine how busy you must be! i can't wait to get one of your awesome blades ( gso7\7 i think!!! ) thanks a lot Guy and keep up the hard work !

Hey Guy, how's the new shop coming along?

Quite well. Just about have the initial shop set up. Getting some upgraded power run around the shop this coming week and hopefully (fingers crossed) the survey crew can get in and run my cable to the shop, so I have internet soon. That old song "so close but so far away" comes to mind for the cable. Both streets in front of the shop have cable but it is just far enough away to make them over think things.

Guy,
Are you going to get Survive Knives it's own sub-forum here on Bladeforums? I really enjoy following the birth and growth your company. As one of your customers I really appreciate the time you take to interact with us is.A Survive Knife sub-forum would enable us to have a centralized place to discuss and follow the great current and up coming events and products.I check regularly on your website, but nothing is better than an open forum for reviews, pictures, and hopefully positive and constructive interaction. Please keep up the good work and try to have a smooth move to your new home..
Thank you,
salmonkiller

PS:The song that comes to my mind is:Metallica Nothing Else Matters

"So close no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trust in who we are
No nothing else matters"

Second this idea!

Guy,

Since it seems you are getting close to completing these, do you have any more information on sheath options?

I know you have a kydex sheath and I ordered them for the first pair, but when you started talking about possible leather sheaths, I ordered sans sheath for the second pair. If nothing is available, I'll have to reconsider adding kydex to the second order.

Also, are we going to be notified prior to shipment so we can add accessories?

Looking forward to taking delivery...

Thank you.

I too am excited.

Also, a query/photo-request: Does anybody own both a Swamp Rat RMD and a GSO-5.1?
When my GSO-4.1 comes in, I'll compare it to Swamp Rat's HRLM and Rodent Solution as well as a BRKT Bravo 1. I have an RMD but no GSO-5.1 (missed that run).
For those with lots of knives, please give a hand to others by doing comparative reviews or just posting pictures. I know that they help me out when making decisions on what product to purchase.
