Primble's Mystery GAW - Prizes Mailed

"Before I refuse to take your questions, I have an opening statement."

:)

I have absolutely no idea about this whole puzzle thing that's going on , I'm a simple kind of bloke and things like that go over my head faster than a warning shot from an angry neighbour .
But that quote above will live on in my house because from now on my kids are going to hear that about once a week when I'm doing my rant about cleaning their bedrooms . :)

I've got it! It's a book of Reaganisms!

It will all begin to make sense tomorrow, after the questions are submitted - and some of you are giving away your answers ahead of time.:p

It will be the first one that gets all of the answers correct who will be the winner of the mystery prize.;)

Ok. Since my daughter can't sway the judge, I'd better add some more pics. Maybe these will help!!!
I am not a photographer so these images are not mine!
NC is well known for its mountains and beaches, as well as the great piedmont region. This is my state is all its glory.

Horses at the Outer Banks - this should score extra points! :)

And finally, the Charlotte skyline - I live just outside the Charlotte area.

I guess if Riley can't sway the judge, you chose the next best thing! That is called up'n you game! Nice finds and I have traveled your state. I know it is beautiful.

I had gone through all the entries tonight and had it whittled down to the top 28 pictures. I have to get it to 20 by tomorrow night or Saturday morning. Now I am back to over thirty.:yawn::)

I think you really want that blue knife. Not feeling good about the trivia? :D

Thank you Fausto. I have noticed the horses arriving at the downs today, to find out which 20 get picked to run in the Picture Derby Saturday, while the trivia is in progress.

Here was one that seemed to be smiling. Maybe he knows something I don't!!??:D:D

"To sit back hoping that someday, some way, someone will make things right is to go on feeding the crocodile, hoping he will eat you last - but eat you he will."
The Horse was smiling because he/she was "passing gas"......look at that facial expression on the young lady!:eek::barf::eek: ......Priceless!! :D

Figured I better not leave it to chance - Mark might just beat me to the keyboard!

Once again, you have it all wrong. Actually, I was standing in front of that horse and he saw my TEAL drop point Russlock!! :p
:D
It was all the bling from the shiny bolsters that caused the young lady to turn her head, but, obviously the Thoroughbred loved it! :D

Those race horses just love shiny stuff - kind of like us. He would probably run twice as fast if he thought he might win my Russ.

I don't think it is Riley that wants the Russlock, more like Riley's mama. :D

Mark,

I think that Russlock would get lost before finding it's way to Michigan, especially after it got trash talked up there. :p

I can always edit my answer sheet if you somehow and blindly manage to win my mystery challenge! :D

Gary - Jimmy Carter?:eek::D Go back to the beginning of the thread. ;)

I have a last submission from the Dolomite area of Northern Italy

First, a knife I just got and an instant favorite:

Some cool landscapes I found on a search engine:
The mountains in the fog:

A Dolomite village:

And a picture from our last trip to the island of Burano. The houses were originally painted as a color coding for the fishermen who would come home after months at sea and accidentally go in the wrong houses!

Great photos! I'm late to the party and haven't had time to browse the entire thread so I'm not sure what this "question" thing is. I read the original post and decided to throw these in.

My favorite knife (this week) is probably this puppy.

My area of the country (North Texas) doesn't have much in the way of landscape but there are a few beautiful places if you know where to look. One of my favorites is a little place about an hour away near Elm Mott, Texas. It's a Homestead Heritage tucked away in a beautiful spot along the Brazos River. Very picturesque. This little working mill gets most of my photography time.

Even my granddaughter likes to shoot here. She's a chip off the old blockhead. ;)

I'll try to find time later to go back and see where this "question" thing comes into play.
