Rockstead Knowledge Thread

Congrats!

I was a little hesitant to use mine at first, because I was worried I wouldn't be able to resharpen it. The first scratches I put on my Higo were from cutting some old silt fence...destroyed the edge too:(

Jesus man! Just dove right in with the fence! Lol I have to leave for work, but I've been sitting here debating whether to bring it with me or not. I'm going to be late :/
Also, thank you [emoji846]. Flippers have been more my thing but the action is phenomenal on this knife. Really like how they did the liner lock too.

If anyone is looking for a TEI-DLC, Rockstead Shop has one in stock for $1650.00.

They also have a HIGO-X-IW-ZDP ($1150.00) and a KOU-ZDP ($900.00).

The Higo for sale at Fort Henry isn't the ironwood version (IW).

Correct. The plain Jane model. Actually went back and forth with that one. Such a great price! Now that I've handled one I see what all of the attention is about.

I caught the Rockstead bug now. I love knives with ironwood scales and that landed me in this thread and the Higo. I understand that its not that simple to buy one either. What is the best way to find one? Im guessing that grabbing the first available and not being too picky on the steel.

If you've checked out the Rockstead retailer sites, then simply order one from a retailer and be willing to wait for the next production run of that model.

You might be able to get it from the foreign sites(henniehanes) or that other one.
