No, there was nothing else wrong with the knives. This is a first run knife, like all new products there are chances of things to go wrong. It's part of the process. RYP announced him and Lion are fixing the knives free of charge. UDT SEAL is just mad cause everyone was calling him out on his screen name and he had to finally come clean that he was never a SEAL. I wanted it kept it quiet so people would still maybe assume he was one. haha
You should be able to sell that and break even on the deal.
If you did want to keep it,
I would contact Lionsteel to fix it for you without going through RYP.
Lionsteel is a stand up operation.
I don't trust him.......
If he sends the money I will send the knife ..
I trusted him now he should do the same............
If he dose not I will take this to ever forum on the net he will never sell another knife...........
If it was not for ESSE he would have not sold these......................
The dpx/esee split was anounced back in December. Why didn't you cancel your order back then? And why the hell am I wasting my time posting here?![]()
I sent an email explaining this and asking for a refund, 72+ hours later I have not heard back.
And I have never been part of Jethrotull.

Name me one company that will issue refund without hte product being returned first.
Follow process. Send the knife back signature required. Contact customer service asking when the credit will be issued. If it does not happen, then follow your CC chargeback process.
Regardless, regardless of everything, process has to be followed.
I'd gladly give you your $260 back for it and take it off your hands. Hate to see you going through all this turmoil.
This knife has become one of my favorites in a very short time
The quality is top notch, and I have no problems with it other that I can't put it off my hands. Yes, it has the slightly exposed tip, but that will be fixed, and even so it doesn't interfere with the knife function, use and carry.
I liked the fixed HEST, and I like the folder version even more for EDC, being more compact and easy to carry around ; this folder has great features, it has a removable glass breaker, a bottle opener, wire stripper, D2 steel, its a titanium framelock with a blocking of the lockbar feature, , even a bit driver, and the blade, ...almost 5mm thick, just as the original HEST
It has great warranty, and comes with nice accessories, like the titanium bead, the cool skull tool, a very well made lanyard, and all this comes in a waterproof aluminum SAS survival tin.
And this is the first version, which was produced in a relatively short time by LionSteel, who by the way did a great job, while trying to keep the proportions similar to the original fixed HEST.
Maybe calm down a bit, and try explaining with some clarity what exactly you're talking about? What, exactly, is the problem with the knife? He posted your information? You're not making a lot of sense, to me anyways.
