Hi -

I am very happy with my knife, it was shipped before the "problems" were discovered.

None of the problems are issues for me, and I will keep my knife just like it is.

I have also been very satisfied with the responsiveness of the company and customer service.

Oh, and the good name you were so taken with is ESEE - ESEE - ESEE - not ESSE.

After what happened to others PVT..Info as well as my own I don't trust him.............AT ALL!

i like how UDT thinks RYP gave his personal info to some one, i think this whole thread is hilarious.

+1, I agree.

Things have blown up out of all proportion :thumbdn:

Well, on Friday, I emailed DPx to cancel my order and requested a full refund.

Since I have yet to receive a reply, I emailed a second request for confirmation of my cancellation/refund, today.

If I don't hear from them by tomorrow, I'll just put in a dispute with PayPal. I'm lucky, my initial purchase order is will under 30 days. So, one way or another, I'm confident about getting my money back.

I'll follow up on whether or not I get my refund without having to file a dispute with PayPal.

mine is packed up and ready to ship back. i have requested a refund, though not for any ethical issue. it is just a knife i know i will never carry, too small for my tastes.

however, with the above noted failures to communicate, i wonder whether i should unpack it and just sell it as is here and recoup my costs. i worry i will be without a knife and my money.

I was told Friday that my request for refund would be sent to the order dept. I have not heard back yet.

You make no scene... I doubt you even own one of thees knives..........
Only you and that other keyboard thug decided I was a seal no one else..........

So I guess we jumped ship? haha That whole BF thing was just stupid. Bunch of lemmings over there. I sure won't be going back.

i assume the bolded portion was posted on another forum?

you would be wise not to continue that behavior in pursuing a cross forum war.

All I gotta say is I hope the people that sent the knife back for refund will get what they deserve. Which is to say,not that I feel the need to clarify :D, a full refund.

Edited to add - The quickest refund is selling it on the exchange.

To play it safe and recieve your money faster, I would sell it in the exchange. There are alot or people who would love to have your knife.I would venture to say you would atleast make your money back in full.

Hi CUSTOMER INFORMATION REDACTED aka UDT SEAL has been told numerous times to simply send his knife in for a full refund. We maintain a full list of contact with him including emails and phone logs with his verbal and written threats to one of our vendors today.

DPx Gear has a no questions asked, lifetime warranty and we welcome returns, comments, requests for service. In this case Mr CUSTOMER INFORMATION REDACTEDhas his knife since 1:23pm February 2 and despite his comments above, he refuses to send it back.

Since Mr CUSTOMER INFORMATION REDACTED has a history of abusive, comments posted on this forum against other customers, staff and company I feel its safe to assume to understand motivation and position. Since his threats are sent via Hushmail and against people who are constantly standing by to refund his money. Its seems counter productive to his publicly stated goals. Once again our goal is make sure we have happy customers of which we have many.

Our position is equally clear. We await the return of his knife so that we can provide him with a full refund. I will go one step further.

If he wants to appoint any one of our dealers as a escrow person. We are also happy to to that.

For now the lack of moderation or need for facts to back up comments in this thread is an example of why this forum has no longer become a healthy place for manufacturers or many of our customers.

CUSTOMER INFORMATION REDACTED, we await your knife. Until then we are at an impasse.
