It's not foolproof, but I always record opening packages these days.

I also record packing boxes I ship, but that doesn't prove much.

I understand that without an established pattern of deception, this case is difficult to prove one way or another. Both members have very good feedback.

And now...damaged reputations...none of which is helped by the antics in this thread...unfortunately.
 
But, but, but........ How would you know that he hadn't already opened the package, took out the contents, then sealed it back up with something else inside? :cool: Just kidding, lol. :)
 
We're trying to settle this in the inbox fellas, but he hasn't responded, although I see he's responded here. That's where this should have stayed. I quit watching this post. I'm doing the same after this reply. Bunch of whining babies. Gossiping like women. You can joke about this, but I can't. Two faced baby girl antics is all I've seen here. Wannabe investigators etc. Keep twirling your hair weirdos. Mind your own business and I'll take care of mine.

There's only one party here making comments like this^

I know who I believe. Yup, the seller screwed up in describing the knife. He screwed up in giving a refund before getting the item back. But the buyer is acting totally bat-es crazy. His behavior in this thread fits what the seller as said happened, perfectly.

Actually always wondered if I had to use a vid if having the vid itself would seem suspicious. "Why did you record yourself opening it?"

Well I’m pretty sure a box weighing only 5 oz is pretty dam close to as proof that exists. Knife only and box alone are gonna be over that.

I'm being attacked for something I didn't do. I have offered to refund the the seller. What are you missing asshole? You have no stake in this, yet you're here to voice your belief without evidence.
 
No more offers for refunds will come from me. I've wasted more than enough time here. Losing face in the process. My time and reputation aren't worth anymore time here. Dallas T Dallas T .. You should have taken me up on my offer before slinging mud.

I usually agree that it's best for the community to wait until the facts are revealed before taking sides and cluttering a GB&U thread with jokes and off-topic discussion.

Perhaps it would be best for you to keep the profanity, homophobic and misogynistic insults, and general asshattery out of it as well.
 
At what point do I get angry to show these people that I'm upset? They started saying that they fact that I was being so nice makes me guilty. Now, I'm being not so nice and I'm guilty? See my position? You all are goofy backwards weirdos sticking your nose in someone else's business and only making things worse.

I didn't start the joking and jackassery. Why don't you read the thread from square one and see for yourself instead of saying I'm guilty because I'm upset?

I've seen you offer and retract a refund several times in this thread. The last refund offer was conditional on USPS refunding you which we both know they will not because there is zero evidence anything happened to the package while in their care.

You've said you'd refund. You've said you're done with this thread. You've said a ton of stuff in this thread and not a bit of it makes you look innocent. You want to prove something? Do what you said. Immediately refund the seller and stop posting in this thread. Everyone, most importantly you, would be better off if you just do what you said you would.
