Seller beware - Extrabaconplease - Luke Oudy

Extrabaconplease (Luke Oudy) purchased a knife from me (he received it on Sep 20th) and has since decided I was obligated to buy it back because he desperately needs the money (even though he has made purchases on here as recent as yesterday). Because I said I couldn't buy back at this time, he has filed a false claim in Paypal saying "The knife has stains on it. I would like to return the knife for a full refund please."

This is not true and he has in fact been trying to sell the knife in several threads hear on BF.
Since he filed the Paypal claim he has gone back and tried to delete the threads, but they are still saved in the Moderators Back end forum.

I have sent all of our DM correspondence and sales threads to Paypal. I fully expect them to rule in my favor. But this is just a warning to those who may be selling to him in the future.

Wow he needs money try's to make you buy a knife back and then crys to PayPal. This kinda bs should be a instant ban. This community doesn't need this at all. To tell you the truth outta all the bad GB&U this is in my opinion the lowest so far.

I second this... this guy knows what he is doing and isn't smart enough to hide it. He will keep pulling this stuff until he is shown the door.

Especially after his last escapade, this is a pretty nasty thing to follow up with. Bring down the banhammer on this fool.

I just saw @ExtraBaconPlease like a post in the Carothers sub, so I imagine he has seen notifications from this thread.

I'm sure he has ... and that's what I mean ... how can you think you have the right to demand someone to buy the knife he made for you back from you? And if they won't ... then attempt to trash his good name ... scam him and scam PayPal to get money ... yet be posting WTB posts that involve $300.00 and higher priced knives?

That's about as bad as I've seen ...

He knows about it... he's just hoping it will just be forgiven like all his bad-behavior has in the past. He was over in the Busse forum trying to win a shop credit 20 minutes ago lol...
I can't believe he's still around after all the vile name-calling directed at well respected members in previous threads including him. I won't stoop to his level but there are plenty of descriptive names that would describe him to a T.

To paraphrase Gertrude Stein, a scammer is a scammer is a scammer!

"A real failure does not need an excuse. It is an end in itself."

Thanks for the support guys. I am still waiting for Paypal to resolve the issue, Hopefully soon. Until then they have frozen the full amount of the original purchase. It's sucky, but that is the system I guess.

People who know me, know I like to stay drama free. I run an honest business, and I would hope that customers would reciprocate. 99% of the time they are awesome, unfortunately the 1% can ruin it for everyone.

This is my only income for a family of 5. I don't take deposits or pre orders, and I don't make promises I can't keep. If I make a mistake, I own up to it. I want people to be happy with their purchases. The knife world is a tight community, if I screw someone, everyone will know. Same with customers.

there is so much I feel like I have to say about this, but much of it's been said, and it's a downer subject that isn't any of my business. Anyway, Ben, you're a guy I admire and I want the best for you.

I do want to say that I think it's good you called him on his callous and unethical decisions, in a way that makes it clear to people that may find themselves interacting with him, what they might expect in dealing with this person. It's not always easy to do, or to do properly. Lastly, this kind of behaviour is usually not 'one off' in nature. The roots for the type of worldview that lead to unethical actions tend to run deep.
