I take it the [lower] price for the pro is for BCCI members? It was $145 where I looked, which makes the difference between the pro and botm insignificant.
I like the 102 and I find the palm wood interesting. I'd like to see it on a knife in real life. I'm passing, but just because I have no use for it. Pretty knife![]()
24 hours - anyone know how many are left ?
Waiting waiting waiting...Still waiting for the new Vantage buildouts.
Pictures probably don't do that knife justice.
The way Buck does things, I'd be willing to bet we're going to see more of that handle on future knives.
A collection of all of those would be cool.
At least 30. I was not dedicated enough to add any more to my cart...
I agree. At first it was an easy pass, but it’s growing on me. I’m just not all the way there yet.
With as many that have passed on it, in this thread, I thought there would be more left. I guess the number of people commenting in this thread and sub-forum is not indicative of Buck's consumer base...at least for this issue.70 left
I can see a need for balance. If it shows a high number, folks may think there’s no rush. They can always buy later, but then don’t. I do think they should show a number below a threshold (50 or 100?) showing they are almost gone. That number would encourage a buy then as you might not get another chance.I really wish Buck would bring back the previous functionality to see how many knives are left.
Looks nice, but the handle on the 102 is just not the right size for me. I tried, but couldnt love it.
BTW I love 154, one of my favorite blade steels.
