With this year's offerings, Spyderco once again proves to be in a class of their own in the knife world IMO. A little bit of everything from fixed blades to improvements on old models, to innovative new models.I love how Spyderco completely redid their bearing/race/washer assembly. Should be less finicky. I wonder how they flip!
I swore off Spyderco flippers but now I'll give them another try. Maybe the Mantra 3.
I'm not a fan, here's a review on one.The Field Strip thing is a Ken Onion invention, and he still wields enormous influence over CRKT.

I'm sure it'll be good, atleast the blade. That's basically the sheepsfoot blade that they have on the Griptilian.+1. Still, very interested to see a review on this one. It looks great IMO.

The TOPS Knives Mini-Scandi Folder has my attention. I know I'm one of about five guys here who actually takes TOPS seriously, but they have moved away from the "all our knives are Serious Business for Hardcore Operators" marketing.
3"-3.5" blade, N90 stainless, liner lock, true Scandinavian grind, micarta slabs, price is supposed to be $150, and if that's MSRP, then street price should be about $120.
Hmmmm. This kind of sounds like another folder that was supposed to come out a few years ago, but then never happened.....
Edit: Condor is also coming out with a tribute to the "Otzi Knife". It's not normally my thing, but I kind of want it.

20cv its the metallurgical = to bohler m390 and 20cv is made in the USA some would argue cpm20cv is the best steel you could put on a folder currently...Wouldn’t you guys rather have m390 or S35VN on those new ZT than 20v ?
