Thank you sir! That is extremely cool, Jason. I wouldn't mind one of those myself! You are quite talented. I was just looking at your 71 mod with red G10 liner, love it.![]()
I'm sorry Bill. I don't work on SAK's. Maybe just an easy out bit from about any hardware store would get it out for you? Have your tried that?Jason, do you do repairs on SAK mods? I have one with a broken Torx screw and I can't get the piece out that is left behind otherwise I would get a new screw and do it myself. If you can't could you maybe suggest someone?

Seriously, if you do decide to offer those I'd like the opportunity to nab 1 for my father. He's an avid whittler and it'd be perfect for him to slip in his Sunday-go-to-meetin' pants and not be suspected by my Mother, lol. (she fusses about him carrying knives to church)Thank you sir!
The screw is a number 6 Torx and the threaded part is less than a 1/16 of an inch. Not sure I could find and out bit for some thing like that. I will continue my inquiries - thanks for getting back to me.I'm sorry Bill. I don't work on SAK's. Maybe just an easy out bit from about any hardware store would get it out for you? I learned a couple new tricks today! My first time doing jigging and a contoured shield on this #93.

Wow Jason! Each project is better than the last. You are developing quite a skillset!
Outstanding and clean work Jason, that jigging looks great with the shield and knife pattern.![]()
Beautiful work, Jason!
Thank you Dan!Maybe your greatest achievement, at least the one I saw. The jigged Micarta covers and the shield are superb. All that on a great pattern. You made there an exceptional knife.
Dan.
