Have you looked at what the CRKT G.S.D. stands for? I'm really surprised Microtech's tactical three blade phallus of doom, doesn't have a ridiculously stupid name, like the "PENETRATOR!"

maybe yes, but from the book "Spyderco Story" he said the name comes from a product he made before the sharpmaker, a tool with many hands/fingers to held a jewellry to help jewel artist work with. the invention looks like a Spider so he named his company Spider Company / similar which later changed into "Spyderco". CMIIW

5 pages yet i haven't read anyone mentioned BUSSE names......... Nuclear Mistress Fusion what? NMFSH ? TGLB? too hard to remember
not to bash, actually I like their products...... but not an enthusiast yet

BladeHQ did an excellent two part video on Sal, his son, and the company. It's a very good video to watch.

I completely forgot about Busse, too! SWATMANDU! The SYCKO series has decent names, but the Busse/Swamp Rat series cracks me up!

Okay, yeah, Busse is even worse and more confusing than the numbered models. Very nice knives, but you need a glossary to discuss them.
