Slash test requests - I grew my own bamboo forest for this.

That’s awesome that you’re willing to send Houla your knife to test!!

I can’t wait to see how it does!! ;)
LMAO! Nope, he can buy his own. I cut some spots for marking the bitting spots in several brass key blanks the other day with my DEK1. It dulled the edge a tad but there was no rolling or damage at all.

I wish I could grow bamboo but it's too cold where I am. YouTube has tons of videos, you can make bows and arrows, a Jivaro style blowgun and darts, cups to drink from, tons of neat stuff with it. I also see people selling it on Etsy for decent money.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he just started with a Buck or a cheap machete.

But why would he do that when he called out supersteel owners everywhere with his comment "bunch of geeks paying hundreds of dollars for a few inches of super-steel edged object and too chicken-shit to trim some bamboo stalks in the back yard for mortal fear they might chip their blade"?

A Buck or cheap machete vs. bamboo is not ground-breaking territory, and it's not in the spirit of what Houla is preaching, above.

I am waiting for the "hundreds of dollars" and "supersteel" as advertised.

So we can laugh at him when he sees how good that the super steels perform.
