Interesting that he has tattoos fully sleeved on his right arm. Most police departments don't allow that.

I know a lot of departments have become more lenient on tattoos, seen many a LEO with them, some departments just require that you cover them up while on duty, others seem to not care so much.

The IP goes to Richardson, TX and belongs to AT&T.

Huh, my quick search put it out of Houston, but I'll admit my IP tracking skills are limited.

I do IP checks often on another site. My results show:

70.139.153.240
IP:
70.139.153.240
server location:
La Porte in United States
ISP:
AT&T U-verse

FWIW.

I'll second La Porte, TX:

IP Address Country Region City ISP

70.139.153.240 United States Texas La Porte AT&T Internet Services

Continent Latitude Longitude Time Zone

North America 29.6785 -95.0483 CST

Added it to the list of info, thanks fellas:thumbup:

Can a mod give us the IP used on his Sledgeh@mmer account here just so we can verify if it's the same or if it's a new location.

Extremely impressed with the effort and care this matter has attracted. Pretty awesome the lengths people are willing to go in order to preserve the forum integrity and keep each other accountable.Y'all make relative noobs like me glad I'm a member. I hope justice is done!

Registration IP Address
Sledgeh@mmer 166.147.72.42

He has a few Post IPs all in the same series, just the last 2 digits differ.

Thank you sir.

I'm getting this when I search for it:

IP Address | Country | Region| City |ISP
166.147.72.42| United States | Texas | La Vernia | At&t Wireless

Continent| Latitude| Longitude| Organization
North America| 29.3473 |-98.1009 |AT&T Wireless

Maybe he's been using a smart phone (seeing as it AT&T Wireless), it might explain the slight variations Esav found from different post.

Can someone verify this, like I said not the best with IP locating.

Thanks.

I see more and more of this, one set of IPs based on location, replaced by current IP based on mobile phones.

Funny thing is, my Area Code for my mobile phone number is different from my land line's.

ok , I've had luck with that IP . I think they are into something bigger than just stealing knives. Internet scams and person to person possibly.

If he turns out not to be a police officer can he be charged with impersonating one as shown by his youtube videos?

The curious thing about his "duty" belt video, is none of the gear looked like it had ever been on patrol.
The belt looked like it had never left his mom's basement.

I'm very impressed with the way you guys have handled this thus far. I hope the OP is made whole.

I don't know if "impersonating" would stick unless he tried to perform as a police officer, not just make a fictional claim, which is more like "stolen valor".

There are actual crimes here which make better charges. Although claiming to be an officer might make his local police real serious about putting him out of business, making them look bad like that.

All I can get for Internet connection is DSL from my pitiful local telephone company, Windstream. Every time I have to reboot the modem or a power outage does it for me, my ISP changes. Afterwards, sites I go to require me to reverify my ID (device not recognized), and my cookies don't let me skip logging in on other sites. I do not know the extent to which my ISP changes.

What is happening with Texas law Enforcement, have they started an Internal investigation??
