great job you did here.

man oh man, i've been on a real sodbuster kick the last month or so, and i'm so glad this thread popped up on the list again, i've jetted through it on my break just now, and i can't wait to get home this afternoon to take some pictures of mine to add to the list. great knives fellas

thanks
sam

After hearing all the high praise for the Sodbuster, I figured on giving them a shake. Ended up with a Case Sodbuster Jr., but unfortunately it's in stainless. Now that I've had a chance to handle the thing and see what it's all about I wish I went for Case's CV in a full size Sodbuster instead of what I ended up with. Solid, chunky, all business little workhorse. Can definitely see the appeal of the Soddie for those who use their knives.

i have case soddies in a both steels and like both of them, the cv alittle more so, but for a hard working knife that ends up my sweaty pocket the stainless is nice, a little harder to get sharp and keep sharp, but it's good stuff.

I've only got one, made by Keith Johnson with black micarta, white liners, and Devin Thomas damascus. She's a worker and a looker

I have a few that I carrie on and off.
Queen Country Cousin - D2 steel is nice once it was reprofiled
Moore Maker - 1095 steel
Case Jr. - Stainless
Case Jr. - CV. Modified orange G10 scales and filework by Seal.

I'm not a huge fan of Damascus, but the black micarta really sets it off, it looks like something James Bond would carry.

Really I'm not a big fan of damascus either, mainly because I find it a pain to keep in good condition down here in southern Florida. How about tacti-ditional?:o:p

all i have are run of the mill case sodbusters, i think i need to have one of the guys here dress up a cv junior for me, i'm not sure what i would have put on it as far as scale material, but i love the file work and the different colors and materials. wife is gone with the camera, maybe i'll get pictures tomorrow.

thanks
