SPY, Do you ever read the Rules? or is it that Rules only apply to everyone else OR is it that in your World of Reality you will now spin one of your indecipherable diatribes outlining in paragraph after paragraph of Sanford & Son prose how it simply was not you and that you are simply Misunderstood?

I tried to see both sides. I tried to be objective. I'm sad to say at this point there will never be satisfactory resolution to this mess. Dino, I'm sorry you got scammed. I admire your quest for justice. Spy, I'm sorry you did not quickly do the right thing. I am amazed at your resolve to stick with an illogical argument and fight to clear your reputation in the process damaging it more and more and more and more ............

Wether you are banned or not, I have put you on my ignore list. I can not buy from someone who conducts themselves in the manner you have here on these threads.

A thought has just occurred to me... what if SPY is a master troll, and all these combined 20 pages of enraged posts, in which he expertly works the crowd into a fury... are the end-game envisioned by a master craftsman? What if the whole thing was orchestrated, from the swapping out of the Sebenza parts to the seller's ad to the sale of the knife to this very thread here, all so that this would turn into an epic thread?

If that is the case, gents, then we must stop berating SPY immediately. And instead, we must bow before him. For he would truly be a master among trolls.

I've always enjoyed my time on BF, actually most Forums that deal with Hobby areas of interest are Fun.
It has never ceased to amaze me how sometimes the most basic of topic is analyzed, dissected and debated.
"How sharp is sharp", "How fast is fast" and in this case - what were the motivations of an individual who simply.....
Got caught.
I have no doubt he has done it before. The guy obviously ranks his pseudo-intellect above others (classic trait for a sociopath). Some actually are quite "smart" but isn't that yet just another "How sharp is sharp" discussion;)
He culled together a knife and sold it for a premium price on a forum that prides itself (says it right in the rules) on having integrity honesty and Full-Disclosure with the lean being toward under promising not over.
This wasn't Full-Disclosure by any sane persons definition it was exactly what it appears to be - misrepresentation.
In Politics that is called a - strategy.
Everywhere else it's just plain - dishonest.
SPY has attempted to dismiss his knotted rope of deceit as a "mistake".
This wasn't a mistake.
Mistakes aren't intentional.
Physically swapping out parts and then failing to mention the process by which the object came to be is an intentional act.
So, as it has been said. Not much to be salvaged at this point.
Knife is going back. Moneies refunded and the - Band plays on.
 
Hey, SPY, when you receive that pos Frankenbenza back from Dino, I'll give you $10 for it as long as you get Judy Warenski to engrave the thing.

Of course, I'm pretty confident it won't take you too long to try and pawn off this contraption as a new and unused Sebenza somewhere else to some other unsuspecting soul who may not know any better, you turkey.

BTW, How does it feel to be considered a complete and total sociopathically deranged boob at one of the biggest knife forums in the world?.....why don'tcha go ahead and write a 3000 word essay on that.
 
Let's not forget that whatever refund dinokay gets will be from PayPay as it seems that Spyf blocked his accounts.

So Spyf will walk away keeping both the knife and the money that he swindled.

I certainly hope that his future here at BF will be short.

I hope he's close to the end of that plank just standing there waiting for the final push off. I really do hope the sharks are awaiting, mouths opened wide, for his inevitable plunge.

It's insured for the full value and the whole process taped for paypal should they require proof (cuz you never know). Do you believe this guy had me send it to a PO box, Paypal said it was OK so we'll see.

I know that BF policy is well stated that "no deal is concluded unless BOTH parties are 100% happy." Do you think SPY,knowing he had ruined his reputation and facing banishment,would have finally agreed to a refund based on BF policy alone? No. In the end,PP will really save the day for Dino,not the BF policy. Banning and unscrupulous seller only hurts the seller,it doesn't help the buyer they screwed. Should BF now consider a partnership with or endorsement of PP, or some other payment service with a strong buyer protection program,for use in BF sales threads?

A PO box should be good, because that makes him go to the post office to get it. No chance of the mailman leaving it at the wrong address.
 
Beautiful Sebenza's Come and Go, the question is what are you willing to give up to posses them, with this SPYfanman guy the price was too High. Without help from you guys (and I thank you all for that) on this Forum, can you imagine me trying to have a sensible conversation on any level with this Ryan guy. Can you also imagine how many buyers decided to say F#ck it when dealing with him and just eat the loss. This Ryan Posey has been doing this for a long time and the reason he feels comfortable in doing what he's doing is because no one stood up to him, until Now.

I know I would be interested in following him on ebay to see if he tries to resell the knife,if for no other reason than to try and warn an potential buyers and point them to BF for the truth about Frankenbenza.All in all it really is a shame.I'll say this,not being knowledgeable about CRK at all,it was a very pretty knife.I really can't blame you for wanting it.I know it has been stated in the previous thread that the changes would not have upset some buyers.Had he represented it as a "modified" or "updated" Sebenza he probably never would have had a problem and would have found a happy buyer.But be that as it may,let's just hope he has,at a minimum,learned his lesson about accurate representation of the items he sells.If for no other reason than he doesn't want a repeat of what has happened to him here.

Here's to a speedy delivery of Frankenbenza back to Dr.Poseur and an even faster refund to your account.I think the MODS should host a walking of the plank thread for SPYfanman,so we can all join in to give this breaker of the code the send of he deserves.I know I'll be sharpening my sword!:emot-yarr:
