I just found a EL-03D on ebay, $21 shipped, forward swept and serrated, sweet! When my files are done with those serrations... they are gonna be scary. Has anyone found them cheaper than this?
The EL-03B (skeletonized handle) is $18 shipped.

ya, no kidding. A knife like that will cut the stems of bananas like its nothing. The stems of the bananas are fibrous yet closely spaced and covered with bananas.

Sounds weird, but I have found that only a curved blade can cut without damaging the bananas. This is something I learned in china.

If anyone happens to know off hand which Bee, Navy, Enlan and SRM knifes have the longest blades (say 3.25" minimum) could you post those models please? Was looking at Exduct and they seem to be pretty inconsistent with their info. Either they don't say or they list the handle and overall so you have to do the math and then convert from mm or sometimes cm to inches. Also as I noticed with my recent EL02B the length listed for the blade must be measured from the pivot since the useable blade on mine is closer to 92mm, not the listed 105mm. TIA

Thank you Chris

You're welcome! Information on Exductis usually quite accurate, and sometimes they picture the knife next to a ruler as well. I don't have k627, but it seems to have longer blade than k631. Navy k622 (copy of al mar sere) and k602 also stated to have 4" blade. I only have k631, EL01, EL02.

Alright, let shake this up a little:D
what about this one?

I contacted a person at Exduct and he tells me that this is a "copy:D" of the discontinued Srm GB-910 and they will not sell it on their site. Actually it's name is Mingren 910 plus!
Sandvik steel!
What do you think?
I believe it must be a good knife with sandvik steel

Theres a new 910 and t08 according to their website. 12C27 gets really sharp if mora knives are anything to go by.

Anyone have the Navy K631? Looks interesting- like an updated FFG Police.

Yah, I have one. Haven't put it through any paces, but it seems rock solid, came sharp as bejesus. Not a lightweight, though, 5.1 oz on my scale.

I've gone a little nuts on the genre, have maybe 7 various SRM/Bee/Enlan/Navy models, and just went wild on eBay -- between one auction and several Best Offers have 7 more on the way, $91.25 with shipping. For $13 average each, one of the best values in knifedom IMNSHO.

Where do you guys recommend buying these? Google's got scant few references to places that sell them...

Exduct seems to have quite a few of them, sadly it doesnt look like you can buy direct from the SRM website. so exduct and ebay are your best bets.

and Just to throw this out there ive had my K631s for 2 months and it still push cuts newsprint.

The K627 is a real beast. It has the longest blade (although the length of the cutting edge is almost equal with the EL01 because of the ricasso) and handle too. More details and pics here.

...and ebay are your best bets....

There are 4 or 5 Chinese ebay sellers that are very reliable, excellent ratings ... note they make probably half their profit on the shipping. Only one seller that I've seen there discounts additional knives, at 3.50 each additional shipping, so sometimes he'll be the cheapest overall if getting 2 or more. He'll also discount them a bit with his Best Offer option.

(I don't think this violates the forum rules, since I didn't mention him by name, and there's no BF vendor source for these)....

Do Exduct is reputable? I always hesitate when I see a foreign web site asking for my credit card info... :-)

I ordered already 5 times from them and the service is impeccable.
One thing you should have is a bit of patience, they are shipped from far away and will have to go through customs.
Even so, typically I received my orders here in Europe within 2 weeks.
fyi They also offer a few very cheap yet ok for the money flashlights.

Where are you from? If you are from the US, why not buy from ebay if you are worried.
