I hope someone made a police report since I see serial numbers posted that way maybe just maybe they will show up somewhere

has anyone heard anything? I hope this isnt like a missing persons case where the chances of finding the knives is nearly none now.

Prolly not the best analogy, comparing stolen knives to kidnap victims is highly offensive

Only if you take it in a way that it is not intended. I never stated nor eluded to the situations being similar in priority nor severity. For you to take it that way is on you. The ONLY parallel being drawn here is that in many cases the unfortunate truth is that after the first 24 hours the chances of finding a kidnap victim dramatically decreases. The fact that these knives have not been found yet has me fearing they may not turn up at all and have all ready found a permanent home in a collection somewhere. That was the ONLY meaning expressed and implied not that they anyway come close to being equally important. If you're that easily offended by the mere mention of a topic and are this prone to assumptions I would suggest staying away from magazines, newspapers, television and not the least of all internet forums. It wasn't even an attempt at humor as I like you don't find such things as a laughing manner. There is a huge difference between what I actually stated and what you are implying. And again many assumptions are being made on your part to take offense.

You're the one who brought it up, I just pointed out the obvious offensive nature of the statement. Maybe YOU should stay away from Internet forums if you can't handle people pointing out your fallacies.

ZT has redone the stolen ones for the RCF | OHE | ZT AUCTION with some groovy patterns & colors.:thumbup:

While I do not condone the behavior of the thieves I absolutely despise the attitude this forums members have towards them. The thief did do something wrong obviously but that doesn't make him/her evil. He must have gone through a hard life, probably as hard or harder than you guys'. Did you ever stop to consider why the thief resorted to this illegal method of obtaining the knives? Did you think that what he turned out to be today is because of himself. I can write it down sworn on my life, that he is a product of the environment and the society and not his own choice, for the most part. Noone wants to be born to poor family and have to work/steal their way up. DO NOT PRETEND you did not get the security of a loving family/person and had a harder life. Basically just dont jump to judge people. I hope the thief gets away and gets extremely lucky and makes more money than all of you combined.

There has to be some level of personal responsibility. The most ridiculous statement I've ever heard "Noone wants to be born to poor family and have to work/steal their way up"... it sounds like you hold a grudge against your own family. Working and stealing is not equivalent, and the world needs more personal responsibility; the world doesn't need more apologists for bad behavior.

I for one despise thieves more than just about any other group on this planet, and I'm not too keen on a troll that defends their actions either.

What a first post.

There's a difference between stealing to survive such as starving children in 3rd world countries, and stealing some knives cause you think they're cool and you want them without paying for them.

Lots of people have encountered hardship and financial troubles. Not all resort to stealing. Morals still apply regardless of background.
