You lost me right there! That's one of the most F'd up things I've seen posted this far! It's one thing to seek the truth and verify if false claims have been made, and it's another thing entirely to drag a Hero/Vet's name through the mud! Even if it turns out that everything posted on POWnet is 100% true, you know nothing about the relationship Dwyer has with Mr. Mawhinney, so your speculation is just that!

Upon re-reading this thread, it sure does look to me like there are things at play here that most of us, myself included, aren't quite following. Finding the truth while trying to sift through other people's motivations isn't an easy thing to do.

I think that people like Horned Toad, Spark, Bronco and the other moderators, STR, Micky, Wolfmann, Slatts, and John T. Wylie Jr., who BTW was kind enough to accept my apology when I acted like an ass and treated him rather poorly, have managed to keep things in perspective while wading though the fecal matter.

At this point, I'm starting to seriously question the motivations of the original poster and some of the other, very vocal, "anti-Strider" crowd, as posts are starting to go bye bye!

Of course. Anyone familiar with the aforemention folks save EVERYTHING because, it can change on a dime. And ALWAYS does...

Either DD was a sniper or he wasn't. Asking anything about anyone else is pointless in trying to see if he was. The search on ssns and the documents from POW seem pretty straightforward. If there are still questions relating directly to Dwyer, then those need to be addressed, all the other BS simply provides distraction and mud for slinging on both sides.

But WTF does that have to do with this? No one has called the man a liar or a Poser in this thread, no one. If the purpose of writing what he did was for us to be so impressed that we must take whatever he posts as Gospel, it did not work for me. Just because the guy is a very successful player in the world of personal protection and clearly is one of the elite it does not change the fact that he has not offered one bit of PROOF, period. So far all he's done is make it clear how pissed off he is about the Strider crew over somethings that transcends all this.

BTW, the music on his myspace page:barf::barf::barf: but after seeing what the guy looks like I hope he does not go after me. I am a short, fat, 50 year old who has lived a standard life and has had very little exposure to violence and fighting. I am no match for the guy so I pray he keeps his sights on Mick and Duane and not me.

I did see he mebtion Slander; what kind of lawsuit can be filed if someone posts the truth about a guy? If what he knows that he's not "saying" is damning and true proof that Duane's a Poser then shut me the F** up by posting it. Maybe the actual DOB of the guy, how about the HS he attended; what name did he use back then, blah blah blah blah (to quote Mick Strider). Being seen in public with people and even endorsing products for payment is not a crime nor proof of anything, furthermore, the people who have tried to use Chuck Mawhinney and his good name without his permission to give credibility to someone who is outed on POW Network as a military fraud should be damed ashamed of themselves.

As far as I know Chuck Mawhinney no longer has any association to Strider Knives, does no longer endorse any product that they are currently making and will not be at their booth at the Shot Show 2008. If he personally wishes to make a public comment about any of that he is welcomed to but till then his name should no longer be brought into any of this, it is a non issue and a insult to him.

For the record, I do not know Lance Harris, Have never talked to him in person or on the phone and never even met the man for one second. I had never heard his name mentioned until I started looking into this current situation and DB started screaming, "LANCE, LANCE, LANCE, IS THE DEVIL!" all over the internet. Thinking back I cannot remember one reactionary post made by any of the Strider OFC that does not mention his name. It seems perfectly logical to me that he post some things about himself here if he felt inclined to do that.

Since this has all started I have done a little digging on Lance Harris and this is what I have found,,,,,,,, He never lied about who or what he was, currently has no criminal charges or indictments, He does not have any record on POW Network as being a military fraud or phony, and the Strider OFC hate, hate, hate, his guts. I could find no record of either Duane nor Mick personally inviting him to "Go Outside" at any public event.

Duane called me a couple weeks ago, and asked if I could make a knife for one of his friends thats been trying to get one. We talked for almost an hour. He didnt mention this at all, we talked about the MMA stuff he's been doing, and caught up on everyday BS.
He sounded relaxed and busy as hell with what goes on everyday at Strider knives.
The point is he dont really care about this obviously or he would have said something.

I didnt ask him about it cause I had just found out about it myself and didnt think it was worth bringing up. Maybe you should contact some of the people Duane hangs out with like Chuck Mawhinney, or Max Joseph, etc.. Maybe they could tell you about Duane and what he is cablable of or not, and if they think any different of him in light of this "information" On second thought they probably wouldnt take your calls now would they?
