Uh, Lakis backed up Strider's claims to be a Ranger on your own site when the first sniff of Strider being a fraud came up back in 2001. That all is back at the beginning of this thread. If 'Gary' is indeed Gary Lakis as the original poster claimed. That is a 'connection' IMHO.
Here's the situation-
Dwayne Dwyer was contacted by one of the Marines I spoke of earlier. From what I was told, on the advice of his attorney, Mr. Dwyer declined to give any information regarding his military background, units he served in or anything else. He did however make the statement that the "Pollard" "Poland" or whatever listed on the POW Network DD-214 is not him.
So, that's it. You cant check out what's not there. I guess there may be some sort of litigation going on or something? I have no idea. But, if Mr. Dwyer changes his mind in the future I'm sure that we will be able to prove or disprove his claims.

I'm in a couple of books w/ the WHOLE CREW back from 99' .
One of my innocent blunders by default I assure you...
I knew about the Mick and Mike SHOW and they ALL went scurrying from my direct questions like roaches in 2000.
I had 100% confirmation from a SEAL "CO" regarding this issue Mike Bottoms and he gave me some cheesewiener excuse of PERSEC reasons for the RSAS identity.
Problem was I happened to be at a Combat Tracking class in 01' or 02' and a REAL RSAS and Selous Scout Selection Officer (David Donelan) asks me about, you guessed it MIke Bottoms. Ta Da ! Tells me BooKoo
NUFF said for now. So now you know more than before.
This was how I developed my perception about SOCNET from this EXACT scenario. Thanks for helping process it, that was cathartic for me.

uhm, ah, I haven't posted here, but have been following. IMHO I won't spend any $ with anyone that I question. Maybe narrow minded, but that is me. I don't shop at wallmart because of their business practices. Don't give my wife a tough time for doing so. If a person, company, has a product that I like and willing to pay for, then that is what makes a free society great.
FWITW, though, even though Stryder is supposed to be so great, I won't buy their products until/unless I find out for sure that they are nothing less that completely honest.

That said, you displayed poor manners toward me, and did so with neither justification, knowledge, nor need. Your post to me was erroneous and disrespectful. I'll thank you to cease with the presumptions about my intentions, judgments, competence, what lane I belong in, etc.
Also, you could've gained your wish simply by asking politely, instead of resorting to conceit, commandments to stay out of it, and ultimatums.
Nonetheless, I'll be glad to stay out of it, and let the pros work... with one proviso: Give me a length of time for how long to stay out of it, before I call him back.
